REJN Asian Fusión Restaurant (JACO) — Restaurant in Jacó

We were craving sushi that had just a little more than what CR has to offer, and we’re so glad that we found this family owned restaurant! They had a great amount of food and drink choices which is so rare- from appetizers, nigiri, ramen, udon, rolls, and they had boba! First time I’ve seen it on a menu in CR, close to the taste, and the prices were very affordable compared to what we would pay in the U.S.

We ordered the two person combination which had 12 pieces of nigiri with 2 rolls of your choice and miso soup. This restaurant is the closest thing to an authentic Japanese restaurant when it comes to other options than just salmon, shrimp tempura, cream cheese, and crab meat in their rolls. The fish tasted amazing, fresh, their rice was perfect if you don’t like too much vinegar, and the portion was more than enough for two people, we were full by the end of it. This may be at the top of the Jaco beach Main Street but it is so worth the extra minutes. The service was amazing! Our server was attentive and friendly.

We came here every day of our trip and it was the best food we had in Jaco. We tried the ramen, chicken teriyaki and sushi, and all were amazing. What kept us coming back most of all is the wonderful staff. The waitress is amazing and was so welcoming every time. After we had come in a couple of times, she began serving us a new appetizer daily, free of charge, just so we could try it.
