Matsuri • Escazú — Restaurant in San Rafael

I understand we sometimes just want to eat somewhere convenient and that's close to us which is maybe not the best. This is the situation that happened to me when I came across Matsuri. This place is not good. It's mediocre, I ordered a poke and it was okay and last time I had sushi. This place is nothing great but I think their prices are ok, could be cheaper given the average taste. If you want good Japanese food go to Hikari. It's roughly the same price but the taste is better. I just hope you don't believe this is "good Japanese food"...

Absolutely perhaps some of the worst rolls I have seen and tasted in my life! Tried their signature roll by recomendación of their server.(supossed to be their best) Absolutly horrible. When I asked what was this.... She simply responded our chef is not here, this is why our rolls are the way they are. (Besides of the awfull service and rudness of their staff, I can clearly say one thing. Either get your stuff together or close it down. You are hurting a great frenchaise like Matsuri. Never will you see...

It's simply a Scam ! The portions are so small that any normal person leaves the restaurant hungry ! We have been there and ordered in the past when things were normal.The prices are way too high and it's just unbelievable how they can get away with this !
