Great restaurant located in the middle of all gastronomic Pula. I had a bitter lemon drink and a âda Pieroâ Pizza. Great well baked dough and sauce. Loaded with arugula, ham, cherry tomatoes and olives. The food was great and very tasty. But there is some work on ventilation and smoking. I have a difficult time understanding that in 2023 itâs still allowed to smoke in restaurants, yes, in all of them. I was seated at what appears to be a table of 4 split in 2. There was about 30cm between tables. So when the people next to me both pulled out there cigarettes, I lost my appetite, and I just started eating... So disappointed âšď¸ and not healthy for anybody. At 28°C I think a few fans would help refresh the area. Although there was a light breeze in the street the outside terras between buildings had zero draft. Iâm soaked right now. You should go for the food and try to find a breezy corner with no...
Read moreThe only place in Pula where I havenât eaten well. Iâve eaten here because I read the good reviews, but my food was not good at all. I ordered a cheeseburger with the burger well done. It wasnât well done (half of it was red) and the fries were half done, so the thick ones were hard because they were not completely cooked. The burger had too much sauce in it, which made it more difficult to eat, and it was a little spicy (I donât like spicy things). This could be solved putting the sauce on a side, so people use as much as they want to. The waiterâs English was limited, since he could not understand me when I said âI want my meat well doneâ and he had to use a translator. I asked if he wanted me to say in Italian, but he said: âno, Englishâ. All in all, I donât recommend this place and I obviously wouldnât go back. Worst eating...
Read moreThe location is in the very center of the city but it is a part of a concrete jungle (hot concrete since it is most likely a summer destination) and it is next to one of the bussiest pedestrian streets in Pula. Don't get scared because most restaurants are like that. Regarding food - definetly try out some of their Istrian specialities such as a stake made from istrian beef or some pasta but DO NOT order calamari. Their calamari is not from the adriatic sea, it is confirmed by an insider informationa imported frozen calamari from middle ir far east (Asia) and the quality differs hugely from the ones from the Adriatic sea so if you are looking for local seafood restaurants - skip, but if you are looking for a decent place to grab dinner - go for it! The staff is...
