Bistro Municipio — Restaurant in Grad Pula

Finding food in Pula is easy. But finding tasty and delicious food for a good price can be a little bit more challenging. And then there is Bistro Municipio.

There are more than enough restaurants in Pula, but the quality of the food and service really change from one restaurant to another. Bistro Municipio is a really nice highlight in between all the restaurants.

We went there during the Europa Cup football 2024. The staff was really friendly and kind and not pushy as you might find in some places.

The food we ordered, Gnocci Goulash and a Vegetarian Plate, was extremely tasty and filling. Also the bread with butter with herbs was super tasty and served on a nice plate.

I was there with my girlfriend on 20.08.2017 in a particularly busy time of day. I ate grilled calamari and she had a vegetarian plate for the main course, and we also had two beers and two ice coffees. Everything was in order, the food and drinks were perfectly fine (I especially liked the small calamari bits on my plate). Dreadful food in such a great location sadly! Food is overpriced and seafood salad, etc was definitely all cooked from frozen, criminal with a fresh fish market 600 metres away. Service was terrible, waited 10 minutes for anything then the mains arrived while still eating the starters and waitress just asked if she could leave them.
