aROMA gelato experience Boutique Pula — Restaurant in Grad Pula

3.5 euro for an average-sized one scop. Gelato is nice, but way over priced. Nothing extra to offer, no sauce or extra things for crunchiness, just creamy, not very intense gelato, more expensive than in Trieste where staf cost more money and the icecream is better. I would take my sugar dose elsewhere, don't know where in Pula, but Rovinj and Porec have some nicer cheaper options. However, there's so much water+colour+aroma+sugar icecream in Croatia that you should really pay attention where you spend your money and Aroma is not one of those scammy gelato places, except for the price. But if your child just wants an ice-cream, you can get two cones, somewhere with four flavours, in the other place, for the same price and if you pay attention, you can avoid scammers easily and enjoy...

Well, ice cream is good, the aroma brand is known in Croatia by now. However, prices are ridiculous, they're more expensive than most non-chain gellaterias in Italy (recently visited Tuscany and almost everyhwere the minimal price was 3 euros).

Also, why not follow the Italian way of gelato and remove "scoops", rather go by size? On the menu you say that one portion is 100 grams, why not allow combining at least 2, if not 3 flavours for those 100 grams = 3.5 euros? Also, I remember that I was able to combine flavours in recent years (for "one scoop").

So yeah, I'm giving 3 stars because of that, it really doesn't make sense to have such an expensive gelato and "one...

TOURIST TRAP! 1 scoop is 5 EUROS!!! This place is a fraud they will steal your money. Beware tourists, you can find a much better gelato for almost 3 times less the money. Do not get fooled by kitschy design. Mediocre ice cream, interior flashy wannabe fancy design only to charge you 5 EUROS (!!!) for one single scoop!
