Welcoming staff. Cypriot coffee nicely made, congenial atmosphere, exemplary for a chain.

The coffee itself (i.e., the beans) isn’t the best quality to my palate, everything else was just fine. I’m not sure how much training they get regarding coffee preparation and technical knowledge, but this is not the place to be a coffee snob… So I wasn’t.

They rent those little portable chargers, but I saw plenty of wall outlets near the tables. So, unless it’s really crowded, you can readily charge your device for free as long as you brought your charger.

I overheard the counter attendant talking with a member of the back-of-the-house crew, and I was impressed by how nice they were to each other. The kindness extends to the customers as well.

The service model in Cyprus seems to be that you order at the counter and take it to the table yourself, unlike from where I’m from in Europe. To have a counterperson call out to me that my order was ready in an otherwise empty café was a little weird, but I couldn’t really expect him to bring it to me if that’s not...

The barista was very friendly and professional. The food selection looked nice but didnt try. The cold drink was nice, the coffee not so much. Why no music or aircon? No lights on, dirty windows. Cup is chipped and old. The atmosphere is terrible. Why is everything broken? It seems if you get take away you will be OK but not nice to sit and enjoy a drink.

*update: tried the waffle stall outside (without knowing it was part of gloria jeans) and not only was it really overpriced, but half of the stock was missing, and the new girl didnt know what to do. Took 30 minutes to make 2 waffles. The girl was sweet and it isnt her fault that the management left a new trainee alone on a Saturday evening. I wrote to them to request someone call me back, and they said they would, no one did. Truly...

Popped in for a quick pick me up after the long drive from Nicosia…I wanted a Flat White but in a smaller cup with all the caffeine…I was served by a lady called Greta & assisted by a lady called Vanessa….both put me at ease about my request & served me one of the best flat whites I’ve had in over 3 years….they were the epitome of great customer service, they made feel welcome & as ease, they were also advising me of places I can visit that evening along with deals they have through to week to encourage me to come back….living in Cyprus, this will be one of my top experiences for customer service thanks to these 2 wonderful ladies & looking forward to my next visit to Larnaca where I hope to see them again for another flat white, or even a double espresso….thank you Greta &...
