Happy Avogato — Restaurant in Larnaca

On the first day of our Cyprus vacation, we found Happy Avogato on Google Maps. It was easy to find and it looks so cute. The food was really good with lots of options to choose from and really good prices, not expensive. You can even choose to build your own sandwich. There’s also lots of vegetarian options. We had the Skalifornia brunch and it was so good and a good plate full! Also, we tried the fresh baked American cookies (or World cookies, as the owner calls them because these cookies or all over the world). They were literally made in heaven, so good! We talked to the owner Michael, the kindest person! He choose the name of the restaurant based on his love for cats. He owns 15 himself! I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at Happy Avocado was disappointing from start to finish. The food was bland, overpriced, and far from fresh — definitely not what you’d expect from a place that promotes healthy eating. There was nothing special about the menu, and everything we ordered lacked flavor and care. On top of that, the atmosphere was dull with nothing interesting to see or enjoy. The service wasn’t great either — slow and inattentive. Honestly, there are far better places around if you’re looking for good food or a pleasant dining experience. Would not recommend.
