Jemms American Steak Bar — Restaurant in Larnaca

I specifically went here because I read that they had New York steak sandwiches. They were compared to Gino's Steaks in Philadelphia. I was born and raised in Philadelphia. While the sandwich I had was tasty, it was NOTHING like a steak sandwich from New York or Philadelphia. I understood maybe you can't get the right cheese or the right bread. But the meat was just tiny cubes of beef and the sauce was like a mayo and thousand island dressing mix kinda thing.

By all means, do not get me wrong. This is a super cute restaurant with very friendly service. It has a very welcoming atmosphere. As, I said the sandwich I had was tasty, just not what I was expecting. I would definitely go back and try...

I went for the first time with my son and best friend to try the burgers at Jemms and i have to say the smell and the taste were just amazing. The best burger ive ever eaten and my 8 year old son kept saying it was awsome and he even said how soft and lovely the bun was. The only thing that let them down was the chips which were not home. Top marks and we will definitely be back to try the steak sandwich and the other burgers. ...

Unfassbar gutes Cheese Steak Sandwich!

Das Lokal wirkt etwas abgewohnt, die Einrichtung hat wohl schon bessere Tage gesehen. Allerdings waren wir auch nicht dort, weil wir die Inneneinrichtung bewundern wollten ;)

Waren eigentlich schon vorbei und haben uns spontan entschlossen doch umzudrehen und dort zu essen. Und das war die beste Entscheidung unseres ganzen Aufenthaltes auf Zypern! Der sympathische und lustige junge Mann der für das Service zuständig war hat uns das Steak Sandwich empfohlen und er hat nicht zu viel versprochen 🤩

Man sollte keine Angst vor fettigen Mahlzeiten haben, geschmacklich unglaublich gut. Also so gut, bevor ich fertig gegessen hatte tat es mir schon leid, dass die Portion so groß war, dass ein zweites unmöglich zu schaffen wäre für mich.

Also auch das ein Pluspunkt, das Essen ist nicht nur sehr gut, die Portionen sind auch anständig groß.

Und das ganze dann auch noch zu einem super günstigen Preis, In Wirklichkeit Preis einer Imbissbude aber Qualität eines Speiselokals. So würde ich das zusammenfassen.

Wie gesagt, sucht dort nicht fine dining. Geht dort hin, wenn ihr sehr gutes, bodenständiges, solides Essen zu einem sehr fairen Preis in sympathischer...
