From the very start when we were greeted by the owner we had such a lovely experience at Εύ Κουζήν!
We were brought a sample of the most delicious pork with a honey mustard sauce, followed by some home made dips and pita.
Our hilarious, kind host took our orders and we were kept entertained.
Each of the meals arrived with a smile and really nice service. Everyone loved their food: sea bream, sea bass, politico kebab, pasta de la mer, and grilled prawns!
The french fries were home made too, and were surprisingly tasty. They tasted crispy on the outside with a fluffy centre, with Cyprus oregano on top! Quite from my friend, "Not the bog standard frozen bag!".
After the meal we were presented with a bite size cheesecake, again made by Εύ Κουζήν themselves, not bought in. Very tasty morsel!
In summary, you should definitely visit Εύ Κουζήν! It's a local Larnaca favourite, always busy which is a good sign, and you'll go away happy...
Read moreI happened upon Eukouzin Restaurant in Larnaca following a day at the Archaeology Museum. It was mid-day and the restaurant was packed, with locals. I saved it on my google maps and returned with my husband the next week. We were not disappointed! We were met by a gracious host who informed us that he shares the same profession as my husband (thus the picture together)! He explained (in excellent English) what all the dishes were, in food warmers, behind a counter, and took our order right away. Within minutes, out came the wine and dishes! The moussaka was superb! We had been in Cyprus for one month and this was the best moussaka, hands down. The servings were generous, cooked to perfection, and with the green beans, made for an incredibly filling meal. I would highly recommend this restaurant. It pairs well with a day out at the Larnaca...
Read moreThe location honestly fell short of expectations! We visited the location due to the high rating with the hope that we would have a traditional culinary experience! I asked for grilled tentacles from the menu and they didn't have them available. I asked for grilled squid and I got fried baby squid. The rice was like sand, it tasted so bad. The food was beyond criticism. Lack of cutlery at the table, lack of salt and pepper shakers. The location is small, beautiful, with a pleasant view. But from my point of view it reaches its maximum potential in season. probably then they are more attentive to details! general opinion, the location is...
