Afxentis Fish Restaurant — Restaurant in Limassol Municipality

First visit to the restaurant and it was an excellent dinner experience for the 4 of us. We sat outside even though it is mid-October but we saw that their indoor dining area is very decent. Started with a salad which was accompanied by various tasty dips with fresh bread and pita. We followed with a grilled fresh calamari (squid), sweet in taste and then by grilled jumbo prawns that were succulent and had just the right amount of dressing. We completed our dinner with a large fish which we selected from their fridge, a fresh fagri which was grilled to perfection and so tasty that it did not really require any lemon/oil combination to bring out the flavour. Very attentive staff. Would definitely go again and in fact intend to make this our go-to fish restaurant in Limassol, where we have lived for the last ten years. The prices are very reasonable when compared to the quality and it was wholly our choice to order such a large fish - it looked too...

The worst dining experience in Limassol. Followed by high rated reviews, we decided to try this restaurant. Tried their meze with a bit of everything and salad included. The waiter said it is a very good choice. Almost all the food was a total disaster,even when it looked good visually. Only prawns and potatoes were okay. Some veggies from the salad were not fresh, grilled veggies were burned and carbonized. The octopus was chewy, the cuttlefish was very strange, like it was some leftovers from it. Fried fish was overcooked in the strange oil, not really enjoyable. The wine in the menu was described as a "small bottle of wine" and when we asked the waiter to bring it to have a look, he did not understand why we needed to know about the wine. The complaint about the food was totally ignored, just a poker face and some mumbling. Later on I have found a lot of negative reviews about meze. I don't recommend...

Perfection! We went there on Saturday evening without a reservation, but the owner was so kind and found a table for us. We ordered the fish meze for two people (we hadn’t tried it before) and wanted to order a separate salad, but the owner kindly explained that we didn’t need it, as salads were already included in the meze. The meze included a variety of small appetizers, salads, and seafood. Everything was super fresh, tasty, and juicy. The portions were huge. At the end, we even received a traditional dessert on the house. I highly recommend this place. Wonderful food, excellent service, and a huge thanks to the owner who let us in without a reservation.
