myself and my husband visited Pier One yesterday after quite some time. We had an awful experience. My husband ordered a sparkling water that was flat, we own a cafe so the right thing to do is to exchange the flat drink with a new one as it's not drinkable, tastes awful. The waitress didn't even seem to understand what we were trying to say and kept on asking "what is the problem". The barman came over and he didn't seem to understand either. He just shrugged his shoulders saying "you opened it, it's sparkling water, it's sometimes like that". No, it's not like that. So my husband just ordered another one and when pointed out the difference was met with just another shoulder shrug. On top of everything they actually charged us for the flat one and when we mentioned it the waitress rudely said "what is the problem". Seems it's the only phrase she knew! Although we ate our food as were starving, it was quite bad, the place has really gone downhill. Utterly terrible experience and definitely won't go back or...
Read moreI cannot comment on the food because I was passing and only wanted a coffee and at 10:30 was too early for lunch. But it has a nice size restaurant and a separate bar and a large seating area. It was a hot day but they opened the windows in the bar area and the breeze throughout the seating area made it a wonderful place to have a drink. The service was good and friendly so no complaints thete. The reason I recommend Pier One was because being on the 2nd floor the views overing the harbour/marina in one direction and the other with far reaching views of the Limassol coastline. During the day was amazing and I have no doubt at night it would be spectacular. Certainly a great location for a meal either lunch or in the evening. I will go back and eat there and then...

We was expecting to eat sandwiches however, there were no sandwiches on the menu so we decided to go for a sushi platter, and we were not disappointed! Amazing, melt-in-the-mouth sushi for a reasonable price. We also got a Pavlova as a dessert, a hot chocolate and a cappuccino.
The Pavlova was equally delicious. Cappuccino was standard and the hot chocolate was very nice. All items were very well presented, the service was flawless, atmosphere was great and the view stunning.
A little on the expensive side in comparison to other places but all things considered, I would say it is...
