We went into a nearly empty restaurant with just two tables occupied, but they argued with us for a long time that we couldn't sit at tables with more than two seats. When we decided to leave, they immediately allowed us to sit at a table that was convenient for us.
We waited over 20 minutes for a waiter to take our order. We were completely ignored, even though the restaurant was almost empty! We started calling out loudly for a waiter, and only then did they take our order. We said the names of the dishes twice, and the waiter repeated them once.
We waited another half an hour, and they brought us bread, sauce, a salad, and a small plate with a few pieces of squid. The main course (sheftalia) was brought another 20 minutes later. It was not tasty - overcooked, with large pieces of fat and gristle that were impossible to chew.
When the bill arrived, we were surprised - three dishes we hadn't ordered were added to it. It turned out that the salad, the sauce, and the pieces of squid were not included in the dishes we had ordered! Even though the menu stated that the dishes included a salad. The waiter said that the dishes included a small salad, but they had brought us a larger one. The sauce and the squid portions were so small that we thought they were small complimentary appetizers that restaurants often serve so guests aren't hungry while waiting for the main course.
One waiter took our order, another brought the dishes, and a third waiter came to argue with us that we had to pay for the dishes we didn't order. He claimed that the dishes were brought to us by mistake! In my opinion, this was done on purpose to inflate our bill. It's hard to make a mistake in an almost empty restaurant with only three tables occupied.
We refused to pay for the dishes we didn't order, and the waiter was irritated and extremely displeased.
I'm giving two stars - one for the view, and the other for the well-fed, fat cats. At least someone is happy in this restaurant :) I will never return to this restaurant; this is the worst experience I've...

The box for side dish for kleftiko was ticked on foody , and charged on the bill accordingly ( from 9,50 👉13€ ) The restaurant printed a bill listed this dish as an item 13€ with the note : no patates . When we called them up right away after opening the bag, stating nicely that the side of this is missing, they said they put, we explained we can do printscreens of the foody order and take a photo of the food and the printed bill, they said ok they will bring one but they are sure they added “although you did not order it” but they will bring it but it will take some time ... but but but...
Then, 3 minutes after he calls back stating again that they did put potatos 🤔 as even if you dont want they put “on default”. this is where i lost my cool. I asked where exactly should be the potatos then. What box . Paperbox ? With the kleftiko or seperate?
...and when i told , i am angry now i dont even want the potatos anymore after this, especially if it will take long time and an unhappy customer is not on top of the priority list to deliver it it asap, that’s really not right.
Its not about the extra charge & no side dish (we ordered also afelia, red beans, bulguri not only kleftiko with potatos) , but about not handling this situation right. Trying to prove your customer wrong over 2 potatos. 😓
Now to the taste of the food. The kleftiko was nice, really nice. The bulguri was nice, never had bulguri with mushroom & zucchini in it before. Afelia had some pieces with too much white, “hard “fat on them. Beans were swimming in the tomato juice it was more like a soup.

Read moreThis is a difficult one, as everything was fine until the bill came. The waitress who served me throughout the evening 03/10/23 was perfect. She asked me if I would like to leave a gratuity on the card machine. I stated that the menu states at the bottom, which doubles as a table mat, that all service charges and vat are included. She insisted that she has worked here for 10 months and never received gratuities from the company, so I suggested she call the manageress over to confirm this as if its not included I would want to leave her a tip. The manageress came over and confirmed that all charges are included but do not go to staff but to the company. This, I think is disgusting as they are depriving their staff of gratuities as people think they are included, which in my opinion is boarder line theft as customers are given the impression that it goes to the staff. My main grievance is with the manageress who was so rude and has no hospitality etiquette.
