Remezzo Cafe — Restaurant in Limassol Municipality

Very nice location and scenery. Service is awfully bad. By a mistake from the assistant-waiter while putting the order on the table, he accidentally dropped the beer bottle on me making a complete mess of my clothes, my wife's shoes and the mood in general. He disappeared out of thin air and 30secs later the cleaning services came to clean and a waiter offered us to sit on a different table. I did not say anything bad, or did I create a scene, but I was waiting for, at least an apology or something relevant (that never came out), not even when I showed them my clothes that were covered in beer. When the bill came, it was on full amount of what we ordered. I would not wait for a discount, but at least from their end to say something that could enlighten our mood (like an apology, or sorry). Unfortunately nothing, neither the assistant that messed up, or the 2 waiters did say anything. I understand that this attitude comes straight from the management, therefore I would not recommend a bar that thinks of its customers as wallets and does not do or say anything when...

Worst service ever! I had a really bad experience here and do not recommend this place. There's no respect for customers.

I went at 10 a.m. for breakfast with my partner. I ordered pancakes, and after a few minutes, he received his granola and our drinks. By 11:20 a.m., I still hadn’t received my pancakes, and no one had approached me to explain the delay. It seemed like they forgot my order, so I asked the manager about it. He went to check but never came back.

After a while, the same waitress came over, explaining that there was a problem with the machine and that it would take a few more minutes—without even apologizing! I ended up paying for my drink and leaving.

If they couldn’t deliver my food, the least they could have done was show some respect, either from the waitress or the manager. After waiting more than an hour for my food, I didn't even get a sincerely apology.

The one star review is purely down to one individual. It does not hold a reflection of the great breakfast and chilled atmosphere. We ordered two breakfasts (one each) with a waitress who did not smile or look at us once. Came across very miserable, perhaps even, the most miserable in all of Cyprus. That aside, three breakfasts came to the table via a different waitress. Confused, we kindly explained we ordered one each (Remazzo breakfast and an avacado on toast). The waitress also confused, took away the extra breakfast and apologised. 30 secs later, grumpy stormed across and said we had ordered two of the same breakfast and that it would come directly out of her wages.. this was all down to a simple miscommunication, coincidentally she didn’t speak very good English.. errors can happen but it was how she took it unprofessionally. She blamed us and made us feel completely unwelcome. She has blond hair and a miserable face all the time. Won’t be recommending or returning...
