Update to last review below. Having come here once a week in shoulder seasons and 2-3 times a week in summer, and having recommended this place to many friends, this might be our last time visiting. With few decent choices in the area, we always made the compromise for the best of the options. The utter disregard for clients however, let alone regular clients, was appalling on our last visit. We had ordered chicken tenders for our child, specifying that we wanted the chicken tenders not from the kids menu and to add a serve of fries to the order (chicken tenders as a starter is €8, but as a kids meal it’s €7 with fries, but we wanted to get a bit more chicken thus added €4 fries extra to an entree option). We specified entree chicken tenders (thus the serve of fries extra). The meal came, and the child ate her chicken tenders. There were fries in her plate, which surprised me, considering we had ordered extra which came on their own plate. In fact, I was puzzled why they would not have mentioned this to us upon ordering. When the bill came, the €4 extra fries were there, and the chicken tenders were charged €12 (neither €7 like a kids meal or €8 like an entree). When I mentioned it to the staffer, she said we ordered a main. I denied this. I said I was clear what we wanted - AND I had ordered extra chips. It’s logical. Why would I spend €16 on a kids meal when it could be €7, or €12 with an entree and chips extra. She agreed and went to her manager - who swiftly sent her back saying that they refused to correct the bill following their mistake. I sent her back a second time to give them another chance. Again the poor waitress returned with the message we shouldn’t have eaten the food and should have told them it was wrong! How would we know - we don’t work in the kitchen! We assume they were normal, at best generous. In any case, their fault, their wasted food. But their mistake was paid by me. But as I warned them, they would pay in the long run with a lost long loyal customer and word of mouth ally. Shame really. For a lousy mistake and overcharging. It really disappointed us

Yialos does beachfront grills and a variety of foods, mainly local cuisine. Their Caesar salad was surprisingly nice - not common in Cyprus. But of course they have the classic pork and chicken souvlaki, pork chops, Greek salad etc etc. It a shame in Cyprus with their amazing local potatoes to serve frozen chips, but thankfully Yialos sprinkles herbs and saves them. Coffee a bit bitter, but I like that, so it’s ok for me. Kids meals are nice and cheap. The venue has a small play area for kids and a shower for post swim bathing. The beach is rocky, but cool...

Booked a table yesterday for tonight at 7pm after having a quick drink in the late afternoon. Thinking it would be nice to finish off our 3 weeks in Cyprus.

Got to the restaurant only to be told. You see the man in the Black top with the other people, we'll your table is before there's. We didn't even get someone to take us to the table.

They we're happy asking us for our drinks orders. Which we gave them.

Then after a while a couple came with there child, the two members of Staff couldn't do enough for them, they completely ignored us. Even shaking his hand.

We we're still waiting to receive a menu 15-20 minutes after arriving.

The couple who came in just before us had there starters and drinks.

I got up and told the manager it was disgusting that you treat customers like this. A member of staff said that he walked past us, I said yes and you went straight to the family. Ignoring us completely. Until I got up and walk away from our booked table. You never even gave us a food menu to look at.

Very poor...

SCAMMERS TOURISTS BEWARE! We went there to look at the menu. Staff came over and tried to pursue us to come in. We said we would be interested only if the beach facing tables were available, to which they said possibly later. So we went to the hotel and called in to reserve at the time they indicated the tables would be free. Upon arriving the tables were not available despite being empty and they refused to acknowledge that they lured us in with a false promise. Awful and unprofessional service, subpar lukewarm food. Don't go there when there's cheaper and better placed facility and option wise literally...
