Chateau Status — Restaurant in Nicosia

We had the very unfortunate experience of dealing with this venue for our wedding, and we cannot stress enough how utterly disappointing and stressful it was. Their professionalism is nonexistent. They were incredibly unresponsive, leaving us in the dark as to what was happening with their so-called “wedding manager”. When we did manage to get a response, they were rude and dismissive, making us feel completely unheard and disregarded. To make matters worse, they completely misrepresented their status. They made it seem like a top-tier venue with a smooth operation, but it turns out the company is under liquidation. We can’t believe how misleading they were in their marketing and conversations, promising services they clearly had no ability to deliver on. As if that wasn't enough, after booking the venue we learned that the hygienic standards at this place were shockingly low. After visiting closer to the date of the wedding, we saw that the facilities were dirty and abandoned, and it was clear that cleanliness was not a priority for them. We seriously doubt that they hold the required permits and licenses to operate as a wedding venue. Probably that’s why they are asking for 30% upfront, to deter you from leaving once you realise what a disaster they really are. For a venue that claims to host events, including weddings, they are absolutely inexcusable.

We would strongly advise anyone looking to host any type of event to avoid this place at all costs and think that no one should trust them with something as important as a wedding. We wish we had known about their issues before wasting so much time and money....

Went to a wedding, what can I say just a location for 1000 people to go with hot buffet, right between check points, old building, lots of places to sit, toilets limited, large round bar, all out doors. Good views of the other side, pay parking next...
