Lovely little restaurant off the road away from the harbour, family run restaurant and they made us feel very welcome, I think the lady's name was Maria, we arrived early 6pm no one in there, everyone eats later than we do which pretty much allows us to walk in anywhere. We started with a few starters I had the camembert and It is a camembert its more of camembert bites 4 to be exact which I was disappointed with but they were very nice, a bit pricey for what they are. We also had grilled halloumi 2 pieces to be exact which i felt was still overpriced for what we got also, garlic bread with cheese was amazing. We had a variety of meals. Burger was huge my brother couldn't finish it and that doesn't happen often burger was very tasty. Me and my wife had the gyros she loved it but I dont think the tzatiki is for me, meal was soft so overall it was good. My dad had the chicken curry and it was bar far for me the best meal out of us all. My daughter had the schnitzel which was greasy for her but cooked perfectly. The best thing about all the meals were the hand cooked fresh chips they were just like chippy chips back home, delicious. Dessert we had cheesecake which was nice, tiramisu was good and the creme bruleee was delicious. Overall I wouldn't say a bad experience it was definitely good. If I was to advise anyone what to have, garlic cheesy bread for starter curry for main and creme bruelee for dessert and your on a winner. Sorry I didnt get any pictures of the starters I was too excited and they was gone before...
Read moreNot the best experiences I've had in Paphos, my wife had the king prawns in garlic and got 3 prawns and there was no garlic butter that you might think would have come from the cooking of the prawns? I had moussaka which when it came out looked like it had just come from the microwave, which was evident when I started eating it. It was warm at best on the ends but the middle was still cold. I did tell the waiting, who said he will sort it, which he did by blasting it in the microwave. It was warmer not not pleasant to eat, it was awful. They said sort about that why not have a drink on us, which we declined and asked for the bill, only for both dishes to still be on. I asked if the moussaka could be taken off as I had not eaten it and ate the small side salad that came with it. They were very reluctant to do this and again offer a free drink as compensation. Eventually they did take the moussaka off the bill. I did wounder why there was no one else in the restaurant at the time and now I know why, as the couple that had sat down behind us and had seen everything that was going on had paid for their drinks and cancelled their food order and left. Funny because others find it great, I must have been...
Read moreRude, poor service and food. The street stinks and so does the restaurant. Don't expect to have a nice experience, between the stench and rude staff, this is guaranteed to ruin your night. Rats running up and down the street in front, from behind the large bin by the entrance. There is however, a nice parking space out front. Don't bother, keep going to somewhere that doesn't smell so bad. Keep .. going ..
In regards to the restaurant's response below, the street has unrestricted public parking spaces all the way along. Their restaurant is fully accessible when cars are parked on the road, as we did. When we were verbally harassed about parking in the road, we simply left while the rude lady was foaming at the mouth shouting 'what nationality are you' in a racist rant.
Not surprised she responded like this, it is as unhinged in writing as she was in person.
The two customers in her restaurant looked so uncomfortable and like they wanted...
