Just ate here while on holiday. We got the ribs and the braised lamb shank. It was utterly amazing. The service was so lovely and polite, asking where we’d prefer to be seated (high or low table) was a great touch. The order was take promptly, but without feeling too rushed and with enough time to decide. When the food came, the portions were massive and the quality amazing. I’m a big fan of lamb, and this has to be up there with the best I’ve had. All I had to do was lift the bone and it fell straight out of the shank. Meat was lovely and pink and flavourful. The sauce was a lovely sweet addition to complement the deep lamb flavour. The mash was great, probably the best I’ve managed to find outside of the UK! The veggies were also perfectly roasted; buttery and soft but not mushy in the slightest! My partner loved his ribs, and there was plenty of meat and BBQ sauce on them too. Surprised by the food quality! I had the grilled chicken with commandaria sauce. It wasn't the most tasteful chicken I ever had, but it was sooo good! Nothing over the top, nothing fake, nicely cooked, mashed potatoes were delicious and the sauce was amazing!! Just perfect! Unfortunately my stomach can't handle broccoli, so I left it all in the plate 😊 I also had a bite of one of the burgers and it was great. Music was a bit loud, maybe a bit loud for eating. Best entertainment duo preformed here during my stay. The young lady will very soon be on the world stage of that I'm sure! Many thanks to the owners for booking their act, you are offering something better than the rest! Regarding your venue, the staff were genuinely friendly and made us feel very welcome. The choice of drinks was extensive and reasonably priced. The food looked better than most of the restaurants.
