Zorbas Bakery is a staple for anyone visiting Cyprus, offering a delightful variety of baked goods, snacks, and traditional Cypriot treats. The location is always convenient, whether you’re passing by during a road trip or in need of a quick bite in the city. The bakery showcases a wide selection of fresh pastries, sandwiches, savory pies, and desserts — all well-presented and reasonably priced.
Their halloumi pies, olive bread, and traditional Cypriot sweets are must-tries. The coffee is also of good quality, making it a great stop for breakfast or an afternoon break. One standout feature is the friendly and fast service — even during peak hours, staff manage to keep the line moving efficiently while maintaining a welcoming attitude.
What’s also notable is the cleanliness of the space and the availability of both indoor and outdoor seating at many branches. It's especially ideal for travelers coming from long drives, offering clean restrooms and a good resting spot.
Zorbas combines the charm of a local bakery with the professionalism of a modern food chain. Whether you're after a quick snack, a full meal, or something sweet for the road, Zorbas Bakery is always a reliable and...
Read moreOn June 1, 2021, during our vacation in Protaras, my husband and I decided to make a small gathering at our villa. After an internet search for a finger food catering in the area, we couldn't find other than Zorbas to cater finger food in Protaras. Zorbas' Website is friendly clear and informative. Unlike other caterers, Zorbas responded promptly. We chose a menu of cold and hot finger food in addition to confectionery, and a special decorated lazy cake.
The staff were welcoming and friendly, the food was tasty, and the pricing was reasonable; not to mention the delivery punctuality - everything came out as planned.
Thank you Zorbas for making the gathering very special and tasty, and a special thanks to Christoforos for his prompt and professional service in addition to his continuous follow-up via phone calls and emails, even during his annual vacation. Unfortunately, we didn't have a chance to meet him in person.
P.S: The pork with apple sauce, and ham and cream cheese in pita bread, in addition to the cookies and chocolate cake (lazy cake) was the most delicious and original idea 😁
I strongly recommend...

Of late however, it’s been one disappointment after another with food plainly lacking in taste. Today’s grilled chicken breast was not only dry but had absolutely no taste. My husband enjoys keftedes but the keftedes we had today, whilst better than the last time we bought them, was over cooked and tasted like a poor copy of the real McCoy. Truly very disappointing as these are staple fares in Zorbas and in Cyprus. What happened? Hope it can be...
