If I could describe it in two words: absolutely quality.
If the owner/any of the staff reads this: THANK YOU for a really perfect dinner. The most well deserved 5 star I have ever put. This is officially my favourite restaurant that I have ever been to. Everything done with so much care.
Made very authentically with natives to the culture of the food, to understate it, it was absolutely delicious — I would call it perfect, for my taste at least. I was out of the restaurant full to the brim with really good sized portions for the price — the Bao Buns (not the best photo) are delicious and much more filling than you might expect, as well as lots of the starters. I had a butter chicken — definitely the best butter chicken I have ever tasted. The homemade lemonade was impeccable, I had the passion fruit. The apple roll was also really lovely and properly cinnamon-y, served with really great vanilla ice cream. The other two I was with really enjoyed their meals — homemade dumplings, sea bass, duck spring rolls, pork katsu.
The service was lovely as well. The owner came up to us on several occasions and he was very kind, friendly and accommodating. The other waiters were also just as kind, with one in particular as such. The food was brought quickly when we wanted, and there were a range of places to sit, but the high stalls near the windows were good for us.
The atmosphere really did bring it all together. I enjoyed the music as ambient sound to go in the background with, I noticed, some native Asian instruments I believe. The looks and features of the restaurant were indescribably good. There were so many really cool displays in the theme. Everything was squeaky clean and presentable. This included the bathroom, which was a 10/10 in itself.
I couldn’t recommend this place any more if i tried. If you are on the other end of Cyprus, I would still encourage you to come all the way across just for the...

The menu is a masterclass in Asian fusion. Each dish I tried was a blend of bold flavors and refined presentation. The spicy tuna salmon sushi was perfectly balanced — fresh, vibrant. The crispy duck bao buns melted in my mouth, and the miso-glazed black cod was one of the best I’ve ever had — tender, flavorful, and beautifully plated.
What truly set the experience apart, though, was the service. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive without ever being overbearing. They gave great recommendations and seemed genuinely passionate about the food they were serving.
Whether you’re a fan of Japanese, Thai, Korean, or Southeast Asian cuisine, Sashiko ties it all together with elegance and creativity. I left feeling completely satisfied — not just full, but truly impressed. I’ll definitely be coming back, and I’m already recommending it to friends.
5 stars – a must-visit...
Read moreI thought I'd give this restaurant a try after reading all the reviews. I went there with my family with low expectations as I've previously tried other Asian cuisine restaurants in Cyprus that had great reviews but most were disappointing. From the moment we stepped in the restaurant we were greeted by the manager which made us feel very welcomed. The restaurant manager recommended some dishes as starters so we went for them. First dish, salmon tartare pleasantly surpirsed me as it was very tasty. Then although I don't like aubergine, I tried the fried aubergines and they were amazing!! Amongst other delicious starter dishes were the chicken dumplings, spring rolls, bao buns and sushi. For main, the butter chicken was recommended so we went for it. No words can describe how unbelievably amazing and tasty that dish was!!
Our toddler also approved as he enjoyed and devoured a bowl of veggie noodles and also some of our butter chicken!
This is hands down the best Asian cuisine I've tried in Cyprus.
P.S. if you are a Gin lover you must try the Green...
