A hidden gem on Cesky Krumlov. It is a little bit out of town but the food and atmosphere are really good! I can highly recommend their mushroom poached egg soup and also their mashed potatoes with onions the schnitzel was really good but you really have to order it together with their yoghurt herb dipping sauce, without its a bit too dry (you generally need sauce with a schnitzel). I have to say the outside sitting area was so cute and romantic & staff was also very friendly. I do have 2 things they could improve upon. Firstly change the light outside from the cold white light to a warmer yellow light, it makes food look better and more appetizing (for example I put my camera in warm mode to let the food look better as the regular photos would have looked bad). Secondly, don't charge extra to have the schnitzel fried in animal fat. Just make the dish a bit more expensive and make it the standard, schnitzels should always be made in animal fat, that's what makes it so delicious.

If you are a fan of schnitzel you must visit the place. You will find several type of schnitzel which goes perfectly with some Hungarian inspired smashed potatoes. Portions are generous, we ended up taking home some of the food. I wish they had more vegetarian options but still, you will not die of hunger. I tried for the first time Kulajda and it was a nice surprise. The place looks stylish and romantic with a beautiful garden where you can sip a glass of Prosecco. The service was perfect, our waiter was lovely and speaking english. Card payments accepted.

Came here on a Saturday early evening and sitting outside on the courtyard on a nice sunny balmy day was a pretty enjoyable experience. I had the veal while the wife had the parmesan pork cutlet. Both were nicely fried without any heavy grease. The fennel salad was excellent and paired really well with the schnitzels, much better than my mash potatoes. Washed down with the local Zumberk beer and Life can't get any better than this. It's also really good to be away from the tourist hoards in the town center.

Wonderful wonderful experience. Had a really nice evening, under an apple tree, being served in this restaurant with young friendly waitresses. Speaks superb English. Creative menu of schnitzel choices. We had some Schnitzel coated with corn flakes and honey. Also, Great simple vegetarian options. Superb cake of the day! I had carrot cake, it was delicious. Very meticulous staff who takes care of the hygiene for customers. Every thing was reasonably priced. Four person added up to 35 euros. Definitely worth a visit. It's just across the river, near a rafting start point! Our best meal experience yet so far in Czechsky krumlov! (others were not even close) I would book a room in the hotel...

We grabbed a lunch there when we visited Český Krumlov and it was a very pleasant surpise. This place is located on the outskirts of the historic part of town so it wasn't swarming with tourists like the rest of the restaurants there. It was nice to have some peace and quiet while we ate. The restaurant itself is a part of a beautiful boutique hotel. If I ever decide to come back to Český Krumlov for more than a day I would love to stay there. The decor is lovely as is the staff.
