Pension Rosa — Local services in okres Český Krumlov

There were three of us and two dogs, so accommodation was a challenge, especially on a budget. We found this pension to be a great deal. The room had three beds, lots of room, several windows for air flow and was clean. ||||A small bathroom was also clean and the only slight complaint were towels that had seen better days. Time to retire those towels. Also, with such a tiny bathroom, several hooks and maybe a shelf would be a great addition. None of this was a big problem and would not keep us from using this pension again. ||||Breakfast was included and was very generous. When I indicated I do not eat meat, the host offfered to make me a plate of cheeses instead of meat, cheese and egg. There was yogurt, breads and buns, plenty of food and good coffee to start the day.||||Service was excellent. The man that checked us in and was often in the breakfast room and on the desk was great. WE love the atmosphere of Cesky Krumlov, which is great in summers as well as in winters. The mood of the town few days before the Christmas was very romantic. And the snows added the magic to our stay. We have chosen the working days for the visit,what showed us to be a good idea because there were no crowds of tourists. Pension Rosa is located about five minuted of walk from the main squate in the town, you just cross the river and pass two streets. Room was rather small, simply equipped, but we have all we needed. My partner got this room as the new car was in a secured lot. If you are driving, this must be the place. This is centrally located. There is a continental breakfast. The WiFi works in the attic room. The room is clean. But, the room chairs were too rickety to sit on them. I was too long for the bed. Do bring your bathroom basics. We could hear everything happening - phones vibrating, lights turning on, etc... We did not sleep well here and that is the purpose of a room. You do not share a bath, but it is like sleeping in a hostel as you can hear all others staying there. It has value, but...
