My local pub in Brno. I can understand why some reviewers have taken issue with the cleanliness because it is a bit rough around the edges, but I'll take this any day when so many modern Czech pubs take their design cues from Ikea. Cosy interior with plenty of interesting bric-a-brac in the window. It's a great place to read and enjoy a few quiet brews (as I often do) with cheap and fresh beer on tap. No wi-fi.
The front room is also a good place for chatting with friends, while the rear section is popular with a younger crowd in their fancy togs who come in on their way to or from the theatre or a dance. The owner is a friendly character and keeps the beers coming until you say it's time for you to go home.

Read moreMoje zkušenost? Byl jsem tu třikrát, za mě vždy spokojenost. Možná jen proto, že piju zde Poličku. Dnes za výčepem byl pan majitel. Přesun po dočepování Kamenice očekával, že si nikdo nevšimne, případně nabádal své podřízené, ať pokračují v čepování Heřmana (eh??). Kdyby to někdo nepoznal, tak ať pokračují, pokud nikoliv, tak zní výmluva, že se výčepní spletl. Tyto praktiky nesnáším, proto na to upozorňuji. Ač pouze po dobrých zkušenostech, dle mého je nutno na to upozornit. Svým způsobem to možná není jen o jednom výčepu, ale víc času jsem v tomto podniku po této konverzaci opravdu nechtěl...
