The theatre was open in 1965, perfectly organised theatre (one can see the stage from every place) with good acoustic. Very good performance level: I saw Poncheilli's La Gioconda & Dvořak's Rusalka - both super!

The location is very good, and you can reach it quickly. The place is nice and fully equipped, but the chairs are a bit narrow. I suggest using air conditioning because the ventilation inside is poor.

Das Janáček-Theater (Janáčkovo divadlo) in Brünn ist ein hauptsächlich der Oper und dem Ballett gewidmetes Haus, nach dem Komponisten Leoš Janáček benannt, das 1965 eröffnet wurde. Der Theaterbau war das Produkt eines langwierigen, seit 1881 dauernden Entscheidungsprozesses. Das Endprodukt ist ein Operntheater im funktionalistisch-klassizistischen Stil. Es weist 1.383 Sitzplätze auf und ist als repräsentatives Logentheater konzipiert.

Navštívila jsem Janáčkovo divadlo na opeře Jakobín od Dvořáka a byla jsem nadšená. Skvělá hudba, výborné herecké výkony a elegantní, promyšlená scéna. Velmi příjemná atmosféra a potěšilo mě, kolik mladých lidí bylo v hledišti. Ráda se vrátím! 🎭✨
