My favourite Vietnamese restaurant in Brno ❤

The menu is very diverse with mostly Vietnamese dishes, the rest are a few Thai and Chinese ones. The food portion is actually so large that my boyfriend didn't think about ordering a second portion like when we ate at other Vietnamese restaurants. The quality of the food is truly great and we really feel less homesick after meals here. Highly recommend you try the rice dishes and tomyum soup. The price is really reasonable compared to the quality of food you get. This is also the reason why we choose to come back again and again! Regarding space, you will have to move downstairs to the restaurant in the basement, which can be inconvenient if you have a baby stroller. In return, the space is quite large with a cozy atmosphere. They even prepare a play area for children. Furthermore, if you want to host a party, they can provide a sound system (speakers and mic) and television depending on your demand. Regarding service, the restaurant's staff are not many but they are very attentive and welcoming. In particular, water, tea and dessert pudding are all free, something you will hardly find at other restaurants. Finally, I was surprised when they prepared sanitary pads in the toilet for ladies. Trust me, this is the best Vietnamese restaurant in Brno, or probably in Czech. I came here after checking Google Maps for a place to eat, but it was actually a great choice. I came back several times during my stay in Brno. The food was excellent, especially cơm thịt kho trứng, chả ngan and bún cá hồi. Plus the price is good and portion is big. The restaurant is spacious and has great atmostphere. There is even a play area for kids, and also a karaoke room to entertain yourself. If you like to have hotpot (lẩu) or bbq, they can arrange for you, but make sure to communicate in advance. I find that the restaurant owners who are brother and sister were doing great job welcoming the guests and make sure to provide all you need. I had a gift for 2nd visit, which is really, really nice. Both meals that I had at this restaurant were sweet - spring rolls had too sweet sauce for dipping, and the soup similar to miso was very sweet in general. My friend had similar problem with her meal, even though her curry was not that sweet as my soup. In general, I would appreciate less sugar/sweet ingredients in everything.
