Came here for the egg coffee. It is my favourite type of Vietnamese coffee.
It was very strange here. They serve it iced and cold. It's not very pleasant to drink a bunch of cold egg. I ended up throwing out half. It was too heavy on the egg flavour, and strangely, the coffee seemed weak and too little condensed milk. Overall, not a great coffee.
If you are not Czech or Vietnamese, be prepared for an almost impossible language barrier. The lady does not speak or understand any English whatsoever. (I don't even know if she knows Czech.) I can't complain about that in another country that doesn't have English as an official language, but just as a word of preparation for any other non-Vietnamese tourists.
The interior is crowded and disorganized, with tables and chairs everywhere as well as lots of boxes, but the outside dining area is pleasant but very tiny tables. The best decor in all of...
Read moreI’m Vietnamese and I was surprised about this restaurant! First of all, I order “Bánh Mì", "Cà Phê Trứng" and "Bánh Bao Xá Xíu", all of them are very tasty, it makes you just wanna eat more and more, it’s a real Vietnamese taste. From what I’m seeing in the restaurant, they have bread-maker, all the indigents, they make buy themselves. Sooooo, you should try it, you won't regret it. By the way, Vietnamese coffee is very strong, best for you that order Coconut coffee or Egg-cream coffee for the first try. The customer service is good by the owner and staffs are very friendly, and supportive. I super love the decoration here, looks like you’re in Hoi An, Vietnam, and the atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. For me, the price is not too high for the food and the services. The next time, I'll recommend my friends and will come back to this...
Read moreWhen arriving at Sapa, you are taken in by the incredible surroundings and the hustle and bustle of ‘little Hanoi’, as it is nicknamed.
Nestled in the corner as you make your way through the walkway through from the entrance, is a small restaurant called Banh Mi Ma Lum. This place is incredible, they bake their own bread, which you can view if you’re lucky. The friendly staff are always on hand with anything you require. The matriarch of the place is hard at work creating mouth watering Vietnam style baguettes that are the best that I have tried anyway in Prague.
This is a great place to visit and to take in the atmosphere that the wonderful staff and ambience of Banh mi Ma Lum presents.
Thank you to all the staff and see...
