Listen up, folks! I've got a story that'll make your blood boil. So, my friend and I, two innocent tourists all the way from London, decided to give this dump of a place a shot while visiting Sapa market for the first time. All we wanted was to enjoy a simple bun ngan, but oh boy, did the staff ruin it from the get-go!
We cautiously approached the staff and politely inquired if the restaurant was still serving. They had the audacity to say yes, welcoming us inside and even handing us menus to peruse. We took a mere five minutes to decide on our order, ready to indulge in their so-called delicacies. But what do we get? We get the lady of the establishment, with her foul mouth, telling us to get the hell out because they're closing!
Can you believe the nerve of these people? We were utterly dumbfounded and sought confirmation, only to be met with more rudeness and disdain. We were the only customers there, for crying out loud! No rush, no hassle, just us, trying to have a decent meal. But this lady, this embodiment of hostility, wanted nothing more than to kick us out, despite the fact that we were ready to pay and be treated like respectable customers!
I couldn't care less about the food quality; the real issue here is the abhorrent attitude displayed by that despicable lady. Is this how you show hospitality to your patrons? We didn't come for a handout; we came to spend our hard-earned money and be treated like human beings!
So, let me tell you, folks, consider yourselves blessed if you stumble upon my furious review before even considering setting foot in that wretched place. Don't you dare expect an ounce of decency or respect, especially if you happen to be Vietnamese or Asian. Save yourselves the trouble and never, EVER recommend this establishment to anyone. That dreadful lady managed to turn our Prague trip into an absolute nightmare.
Poslouchejte, lidi!
Řekli ano a vpustili nás dovnitř, dali nám i menu k prohlédnutí.
Paní zněla opravdu hrubě a chtěla nás jenom vykopnout, i přestože jsme si jenom chvíli prohlíželi menu a nebyl tam žádný ruch, byli jsme tam jenom my.

Read moreIt's NOT the "best duck in Prague"....experience. Indeed, the masterly grilled slices of boneless duck with broth, noodles and herbs are 4 stars. Price is 5 stars. However the attitude of the manager was 1 star, so as the commute costs from downtown. Nevertheless and if you want to shop and winsow-shop within Czechia's largest Vietnamese market, the SAPA colony, it's not a bad option, all possible frills removed.
Still, the BAHN MI sandwiches made to order in other corners around SAPA corners would constitute a smarter snacking option.
Lacklustre latrines, as to expected from a €...
Read moreI am going to sapa market for 25 years now, but this was one of the most unprofessional encounters with a restaurant owner I have ever had. We were a party of 4 and ordered 2 main dishes (the duck obviously) and some drinks. The owner simply refused to take our order and walked away. His was arguing, that we didn't order enough food. Not enough food!? The restaurant was half empty and plenty of tables were free. So he decided to make no money instead of money… Not sure about his manager qualities. Simply blows my mind. never again Dung Lien,...
