Dish Belgická — Restaurant in Prague

45 minutes of waiting after placing our order for 2 burgers and 2 portions of fries. After that we received a portion of soggy chips with a cold cheese sauce poured over it and 2 burgers that has obviously been waiting for us at the counter for some time and also went cold, with garnish getting mushed and soaking into the buns. When pointed at this to our waiter and asked for freshly made food, he went to speak to the kitchen staff and returned to tell us that it would be done, but everyone else who order after us would be served first, as the restaurant is full and they are busy. Saying that it's not really right and that our order should come out as soon as it can was met with an agreement from our otherwise very nice and polite waiter, but that's the farthest we get in our discussion, because the kitchen staff already decided otherwise. We cancelled our order and got our beers on the house. You can be busy, you can make mistakes and it's all fine, as long as you react to the complain positively and fix it quickly. This was my first and last time I visited this place. An empty place, the waiter seats us (we had a reservation) at a table, small but ok. After 15 minutes, 2 more guests arrive and the waiter seats them at the table right next to us - the tables were about 20-30 cm apart. Why??? So it's a really great experience to sit in an empty restaurant with 2 tables on top of each other! Food - I have never been asked about the doneness of the meat in this burger restaurant. Ok, it doesn't matter, but then they bring medium-well done and that's really not standard. Plus, my Savory burger- caramelized onions are so sweet you can't even taste the meat. Moreover, there was so much of it that the whole bun got soggy and fell apart. It really couldn't be eaten. The second Chilli shack burger - there was so much chilli that you couldn't taste the meat either. Great. Oh, and top info at the end; When you order coca-cola, they pour it into glasses from 2.5 l plastic bottle!! I mean WOW, really?! Good burger, but definitely not the best (as advertised), by far!

Let's start strictly with the burgers: They have a pretty large selection as compared to other burger places, but even though we tried 3 burgers, none left us amazed as some other places did. If you want a much better burger, go to Hoxton (on Náměstí Míru, very close to this restaurant) or Jacobs street food (Budějovická). There are many more (in my opinion of course) better places to have burger in Prague.

To a burger add some great fries, right? Well, BAD, very BAD! Looking at photos from other people, it's not standard to receive very oily, overfried fries, but that's what we got. I felt sick after having just one. Absolutely horrible and if this is not how they are serving it normally, then they shouldn't have served them to us...at all. Did they forget them in the frier? Maybe, just make new ones then. Discussing and uneatable.

We also had a lemonade, which was tasty.
