Prague Beer Museum — Restaurant in Prague

We had a bad experience.

We went there on Friday in the evening so it was overcrowded (we had to make a reservation in advance), which is not something to be criticised for. The problem was our meal order. After waiting for 45 minutes after we made the order we asked whether there was some problem and we were told that there is no meal order for us in their the ordering system. Our waiter, although a nice person, seemed to not enter the order. So we ordered our food for the second time being told that they will try to prioritize our order and after waiting for another 45 minutes our dinner was served at our table with no apology from the waiter who caused the situation. Fortunately the pork knee I had was great and others seemed to be fine with their meals.

Moreover, they brought us different beers that we ordered and, after we started to drink them realising they are not the ones we ordered, they brought the right ones :-)

The non-smoking part is not separated properly - you can really smell the smoke and if some customers start to smoke there, the staff don't seem to take...

The food was fine. Not special, but good. The beer tasting (5 different beers 120ml) was nice to try. And cheap as well!!! But the waiter was unpleasant, a bit rude I would say. The menu said they have a chocolate cake without milk. I'm allergic for milk, so I ordered that one and was really curious what to expect! Unfortunately (a bit disappointing as well), the dessert was brought with CREAM..... The whole plate was filled with it... I mean.... HELLO!!! CREAM IS MADE FROM MILK. I told the waiter, I can't eat it this way. His reaction: "you should have told me before." He got irritated and grab the plate, back to the kitchen. Finally I got my cake, but I didn't enjoyed it after this action. Besides, between main dish and dessert we had to wait like more than 45 minutes. When we asked if the dessert would come, the waiter called us impatient. We never...

A disappointment given it's name and the country beer reputation. The staff however made it so that one wouldn't rush back there or just not return at all!

With the Czech Republic being one of the beer Capitals. One could expect more from a place like this. There is ample room upstairs and downstairs but the staff prefer to only allow people upstairs sitting crammed right next to other tables. The service was slow and we when we finally decided to leave, after paying the bill we felt the waiter didn't deserve a tip or at least not a generous one from the annoyingly slow service...So our waiter circled the bill and said we MUST give him a tip because it's not included. I don't think I will return if that's the...
