We traveled as a family of 4 recently at Prague and we had a wonderful stay at Hotel Beranek. The location is excellent . It is very close to public transport I.P.Pavlova ( metro/tram/bus), shops, restaurants, many express markets and coffeehouses yet in a quiet and safe area, making it easy to explore the city. Next to the hotel there are many great places to eat at very good prices. You can get from the hotel at almost all the attractions on foot. The hotel was very clean, and everything was well-maintained throughout our stay. The rooms were comfortable and tidy, with daily housekeeping that ensured everything remained spotless. What truly stood out was the exceptional service. The staff at the reception were extremely friendly, helpful, and professional. They made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We had an early arrival on the first day and an early departure on the last day, and the hotel was kind enough to switch our missed first-day breakfast to our last morning, which was a thoughtful and much-appreciated gesture.Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend Hotel Beranek for anyone...
Read moreWe booked this hotel through Booking.com, but unfortunately, it didn’t quite meet our expectations, especially considering the price we paid.
At check-in, there was some confusion—our reservation was clearly for three people, yet the room was only prepared for two. The third bed hadn’t been arranged, which delayed the check-in process. To their credit, the staff offered us a bottle of water while sorting things out.
Once inside the room, we noticed a few hygiene issues. The clothes hangers were covered in dust, which was quite disappointing. Additionally, the room lacked some basic amenities: no hand soap in the bathroom, only two cups for three guests, no teabags despite the presence of an electric kettle, and no slippers provided.
On the positive side, the beds were clean and comfortable, providing a good night’s rest. The highlight of our stay was the breakfast—it was fresh, varied, and truly enjoyable.
Overall, while there were some nice aspects, we feel the hotel didn’t offer great value for the price, mainly due to cleanliness and room...
Read moreThe location was great next IP Pavlova station, several restaurants and shops, and overall the hotel was clean. Electric kettle in the room, which was nice.
There was some construction on in the lobby. They were replacing the floor. I had to jump over a contraction worker’s puddle of floor sealant to get in the elevator. They gifted me a bottle of beer I’m my room, which was a nice gesture.
The bed lights and the small light on the desk didn’t work. I was forced to only use the bright, overhead fluorescent light the whole stay, which was awful. The power to my whole room wouldn’t turn on for like 5 minutes once too.
The bed and sheets were pretty thin and cheap. Bed was a small twin bed. Only one synthetic cotton made for some rough nights.
Breakfast was clean and basic.
Wi-Fi was spotty, going from being able to play low res video to no service.
Overall, it was an unimpressive economy stay in a nice location. They could use some maintenance to their rooms and...
