Dining at Mlsnej Kocour exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I stepped in, I was enveloped in a cozy ambience that set the perfect tone for a memorable dining experience. The restaurant's offering of local Czech food was an absolute delight, showcasing the rich flavors and traditions of the region.

One of the highlights of my visit was the impeccable service. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of my meal was just right. Whether it was recommending the perfect beverage to accompany my meal or promptly attending to any requests, their hospitality truly enhanced the overall experience.

As for the food, it was nothing short of exceptional. I indulged in their signature spare ribs, and I must say, the portion size was generous and the flavor was out of this world. The meat was tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Additionally, I couldn't resist trying their authentic salmon steak, which further showcased the culinary expertise of the kitchen.

What impressed me the most was the reasonable pricing despite the high quality of the food and service. It's not often you find such a combination of affordability and excellence in dining establishments, making this restaurant a true gem in Prague.

Overall, my experience at this restaurant was a fantastic start to my holiday. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to immerse themselves in the local Czech culinary scene while enjoying a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. I will certainly be returning on my next...

Nice service, food and beer.

They are packed all the time, so order a table one day in advance, if you want to be sure.

Mlsnej Kocour is a charming restaurant located in the bustling city of Prague. From the moment you enter, you are greeted with a cozy and inviting atmosphere that is perfect for a relaxing meal.

The restaurant's interior is beautifully decorated with a quirky and playful design, with a mix of modern and vintage elements that give it a unique and distinctive look. The staff is friendly and attentive, always willing to offer suggestions and ensure that guests have a great experience.

The menu includes a variety of Czech specialties, as well as international cuisine, with options for both meat-eaters and vegetarians.

One of the highlights of the restaurant is the beer selection, which features a variety of local and international brews, including some lesser-known but delicious craft beers. The cocktail menu is also impressive, with a range of creative and flavorful options that are perfect for a pre-dinner drink or a night out with friends.

Overall, Mlsnej Kocour is a fantastic restaurant that offers a fun and enjoyable dining experience. The exceptional food, unique decor, and friendly service make this restaurant a must-visit for anyone looking to explore the best of Prague's culinary scene.

Mlsnej Kocour is kid friendly. We got colouring pages and colour pensils right away, and there is a kid...

The service is very rude, but it probably normal in Prague. Our waiter told us that we ordered too little - 800gr meat with extras and fries looked for him too little at 10pm for 3 not really hungry people. We wanted actually to try local beer and eat something with it. He did a difference between us and the next table, because they listened to him and order all most expensive food he proposed. The biggest rudeness was when he tried to fool us with the tipps. We paid in euros plus tipp, which he really didn't deserve and he gave us less kronas that he should. But I counted it all in exchange rate written on the bill and demanded the right amount of our change back. This rudeness was really too much for me. The food was pretty nice, but the chicken wings were too overfried. The location and interior we really liked. It was pretty quiet and not so full as the most other touristic...

5 stars for taste, -4 for service, so 1 star overall. Why is the service -4 stars? 1. It only took us 5 minutes from sitting down to choosing, but it took 20 minutes from calling the waiter until the waiter came over. 2. Then we waited for 40 minutes for the food to be served 3. We have something to eat and need to leave in a hurry, the waiter asked us to wait for 10 minutes 4. When the ticket was given to me and I was about to pay, this stupid waiter snatched the ticket from me. Note that the ticket was snatched away, and then I checked the amount and asked me to pay after entering it into the POS machine. 5. After the invoice was printed out, I was asked to sign it. Before I finished signing, the ticket was taken away from me. Excuse me, are you a whore? Grumbling before the start, and asking me to pay the money and leave immediately after the end?

We visited Prague end of October 2023 (first time!); arrived late evening, checked in to hotel and googled somewhere close by to eat: the Mlsnej Kocour came up showing local Czech food and was only 10 mins walk..perfect. Didn't book, just went - wasn't very busy so got a table easily enough; the waiter was very polite and helpful - recommended some dishes, so I had the beef with dumplings & bread in cream sauce, my wife had the chicken schnitzel - food was delicious!! Good beer & cider too! Wasn't familiar with pricing at this point, but it did seem very reasonable when we compared later on. Nicely laid out inside and spacious. I would definitely recommend this for somewhere to eat, it got our holiday off to a good start!
