We found 2 long disgusting hair dipped inside the Koleno. And the server was grumpy and not professional at all. He first tossed the menu on his way passing by without giving a glance or any words. We found out the reason a couple of minutes later when he was lecturing us that we should have waited for the server to take us. Well, if there WAS a server when we were walking in we would... Anyway, we apologized for that but obviously, it was not enough for him. He was keep being complaining after all(actually, we got 2 servers. the 2nd guy was nice until highlighting the tip part in the receipt to stress out that.) Beer was just ok. Maybe I ordered a wrong one, which is also their fault because I asked for a recommendation-with a big smile-and surprisingly, the guy was paying 0 passion and gave me ’just take whatever’ attitude. My restaurant of choice for lunch break. Prices, at very least for the daily menus, are competitive, especially if I take into consideration the personal who is nothing but sympathetic and quick to give a service. The food tastes well and the portions are just enough. I personally had only a single significantly poor experience and after forwarding a complaint they did everything to resolve the issue and apologized. Customer first! Food variety on weekly basis is also good (this review is focused on daily menus). Only sometimes soups are a bit underwhelming which surprised me as rest of the restaurant set quite a high level of standard - specifically their broths, which I usually love, sometimes taste cheap. But to conclude I can't but on positive note as my previous experiences with other restaurants within the area were poor especially with personal which absolutely pales in front of Potrefené Husa's na Verandách. TLDR; good food, fantastic beer, very reasonable prices. Friendly staff. This is factory (brewery) pub/restaurant in the building of the Staropramen mega brewery. The food menu lists five items, most are standard pub dishes. I chose the Szeged goulash with dumplings for 128 CZK (£4) and a 0.4 litre lager beer. After I placed my order I went to the toilet and when I returned to my table the food was already there. Can I complain about too quick service? The goulash was made with quality lean beef and cabbage. The flavour was somewhat bland and lacking character. I would have hoped for more sourness, more spicy bite of chilli peppers. On the up side, the dish wasn’t over salted. I gobbled up the whole dish. A very decent fast food at about the same price of McDonald’s. I’ll choose this Staropramen factory pub any time!
