Avoid. I was looking forward to this but was left very disappointed. Ive literally wrote this as Ive went around, and If I could I would rate it 0 stars, but Google been Google you have to leave at least 1 star.
3 Emails and 2 Phone calls, prior to my visit to enquire about tickets, were ignored.
1st impression was awful, went to ticket office, the assistant stuggled to understand English, he disappeared for ten minutes to find his colleaugue, who advised me next tour was at 15.30. It just was before 15.00, and he suggested go the bar have a drink, then come back to office. So I thought OK Ican I deal with that, its beer. 59kr (£2.10) you can't knock that and I didnt mind waiting 30 minutes.
Service at the bar was awful, one girl serving one blond guy walking around aimlessly as if he was lost and didn't know what he was doing.
Thats before the tour even started, so I did not have any high hopes or aspirations for the tour.
So went back at 15.30 to get my ticket using my Prague cool pass, the guy in ticket office didnt have a clue, so had to go back and get his colleague to sort out my Prague pass.
Now for the tour..... and the experience doesn't get any better at all
Its self guided, you walk through different rooms, and there is an automated voice in each room, talking about the history of Staropramen, in some rooms the voice went on too much, where it become a little tedious.
In room, you get a little information on how the beer is made and the next room is about the bottling process, again, this drags on and you loose interest.
You then come to a pointless room, playing a pointless video, of Staropramen been transported to various locations. Im pretty sure people understand how products are transported from one country to another.
30 Minutes of my life I will not get back.
At least at the end, the free drink was served quicker than when I purchased a drink...
Read moreTo counter the criticisms of the Staropramen Brewery tour 🍺, consider the following points: • Video presentation as a learning tool: While some may find the video-guided tour impersonal, it effectively conveys the brewing process, offering insights into brewing techniques with detailed explanations of different types of ingredients. This format allows for a clear and structured presentation of information that can be more engaging than a traditional guided tour. • Safety and sanitation: The decision to limit access to production areas is likely rooted in health and safety regulations. This approach ensures that visitors can learn about brewing without compromising hygiene standards, which isessential for a brewery that produces large quantities of beer. • Value in beer tasting: The inclusion of 4 or 6 0.25-liter beers 🍻at the end of the tour offers a unique tasting experience, allowing visitors to sample different varieties. This aspect emphasizes the concept of beer tasting rather than simply drinking 🤪, providing an opportunity to appreciate the flavors and craftsmanship behind each brew. Overall experience: The combination of historical context, interactive elements, and the opportunity to taste 4 or 6 quality beers (it’s up to you to choose - you can also order more beers if you want at the bar) makes the tour worthwhile for many visitors. While some may feel disappointed, others appreciate the informative nature and unique perspective it offers on Czech...

Tour Experience: The self-guided tour through the facility lacks the personal touch and insights that a knowledgeable guide could provide. Visitors are required to navigate through multiple rooms equipped with video and audio presentations. However, the video quality is subpar, and the information provided is quite general and repetitive. The content fails to offer in-depth insights into the production process. Unfortunately, there is no opportunity for visitors to observe the actual production floors, which would have greatly enhanced the overall experience.
Tasting Experience: The tasting session was marred by unsatisfactory service. The staff members were unwelcoming and seemed ill-prepared to handle the volume of visitors. A particularly disappointing aspect was the shortage of tasting glasses, which forced guests to empty their glasses prematurely so that they could be washed and reused for the remainder of the tasting set. This inconvenience significantly detracted from the enjoyment of the tasting experience.
In conclusion, both the tour and tasting fell short of expectations due to the lack of engaging and informative content, the absence of a guided experience, and the substandard service during the tasting session.
Summary: Skip it as it’s neither worth the money nor the time. There are so many nice breweries that provide personal tours and actual insides in their...
