U Hubatků — Restaurant in Prague

I visit this restaurant from time to time, sometimes with my dog. They have a nice terrace. But what happened today is unbelievable.

We waited over 20 minutes for someone to take our order. The waiter took it, but very unfriendly. When we asked for the bill, the waiter said in English (although I ordered in Czech) that "service is not included in the price and whether we want to leave a tip. I just answered him, "no thanks". Then he said some very insulting words in Czech to me and said that I "don't understand Czech" (although I understand a little). It was very unpleasant.

When I tried to explain the situation behind the bar, they just advised me to write a review on Google maps (which I did), and they didn't even apologize.

Also I must say that the other waiters when I came before were on the contrary very friendly.

I understand that everyone can be in a bad mood, but I think that such things are not acceptable.

And it's very unfortunate that this happened, I now do not know how to go back...

We are going here for a lunch break from our work. This restaurant is wonderful. The inner garden is huge. Interier is nice and cozy too. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The food looks and tastes amazing. The portion is big. The daily menu prices are cheap. We paid by card and we left the tip in cash. We will for sure visit this restaurant often. They have a huge parrot there. Oh and they have live music in the evening! Today we tried to order food to the office and the delivery was free of charge and it was delivered in 15 minutes. Another order during lunch hour took 20 minutes which is really fast. We are really satisfied with this...

Pleasant environment. Staff is ok (sometimes you wait a bit longer for bread or payment). Food quality is good. It's just not performing in relation of price and what you get for it. To have minced meat with potatoes for 149,- czk on daily menu seems a lot much as there is not much going on - it is a simple dish. Also if you want to change side dish, you have a problem - there is no way how you can change eg. oily potato pancakes as a side dish for goulash, personell just won't allow it. Overall: good restaurant with it's limitation and bit over others with prices, but certainly average (not bad) with served food in comparison to others in...
