Burger King — Restaurant in Copenhagen Municipality

Gigantic restaurant. Friendly staff. Ordering was easy on one of their few self serve kiosks. Had to wait a long time for the food. It tasted fine and was hot.

Removed two stars as I tried to get a meal today but had to give up. Two of their self serve kiosks was not working and the remaining one could not scan coupons (and I had a coupon). Tried to order at counter but gave up after being ignored.

I have been coming here a lot lately but will probably find another restaurant after today’s visit.

I usually use a coupon which all of their 3 self serve kiosks will not scan despite of numerous attempts different days and kiosks.

So if you want to use a coupon you have to use their counter which I tried today after yet again failing at scanning at their kiosks.

Today they refused to take my order at the counter and told me to use their kiosks which I can’t because they will not scan.

So basically I had to leave after being denied service.

Not much have changed.

Their staff are ignorant.

As usual their self serve machines doesn’t scan coupons.

Went to the counter to place an order but the staff doesn’t have time for this. One employee was doing trays but did see me. He said I will be with you in a moment. That never happened. He was doing other tasks than taking orders. Another employee came by and started cleaning the soft ice machine ignoring me the waiting customer. I left - once again - without being able to place an order and it will a long time before - if ever - I come back. Went to another Burger King restaurant where I could scan coupons and have my food delivered to table (which this restaurant...

Got an order and set up table delivery on the screen. Got a number for that and went to sit and waited for food to be brought to our table - a very good COVID initiative!. When food was ready, the teenage cashier just kept shouting out our booking code until we went and took it ourself. Upon asking why they gave us numbers on a small plastic sign, told us to sit and wait at the table, for then to completely ignore this, they answered in a very rude manner that they had no idea what we were talking about. Got an apology later from the staff responsible/adult who was mortified. It's of course ok to hire teenagers, but at least teach them basic manners and basic operation...

The food was fine (what you'd expect from BK) but as my friends and I are sitting and eating the staff keeps putting bad Danish gangster rap on and they would turn up the volume to max and then go low and then back to max. Then they would stop for a couple of minutes and then it happened again. Then, we're almost done but with 30 minutes until it closes they shout to us from the other end of the room that they're closing. I tell him that it says that they close in half an hour. He doesn't respond. One of his friends joins him and shouts the same. I tell him the same. He asks his friend the time and shuts up. Maybe these boys were just a nights bad team but still...
