Vinhanen — Restaurant in Copenhagen Municipality

So so so excited about the newest winebar/boutique to land in Copenhagen!

Vinhanen has a fantastic concept: wine by the people, for the people. Fair prices, quality wine - it all seems so simple, and yet this scene is rare in overpriced, sometimes overcomplicated, Copenhagen.

Bring your own empty bottles, bring a bucket, bring your camel backpack, bring whatever you want to fill up with wine, or take one of theirs with an awesome logo designed by Fos - everything is pay by weight (by the liter). Wine can be consumed in the shop (many tables available, so spread out), or take some to go (don't forget the cheese and charcuterie) for a picnic on Dronning Louises Bro.

Went here in the afternoon, it was quiet, only one other table there. I was welcomed by a lovely staff member who was helpful and friendly. Tried two different wines and ate one (of the three) warm dishes. All were great! It’s possible to try a wine first before you buy a glass which is great. Great wine on tap, great vibe, generous & friendly staff who let you taste all the wines before choosing which one you would prefer. Make sure you're here in good time during the weekends cause it can easily get packed. This one has a bit more chaotic feel compared to the on Enghavevej.
