Gasoline Grill - Carlsberg Byen — Restaurant in Copenhagen Municipality

Have very much enjoyed Gasoline Grill’s other locations (the original on Landgreven and the Værnedamsvej outpost), but this place around Carlsberg Byen significantly disappointed.

I ordered a double patty “butter burger”. It was dry, overcooked and crumbling. I was hesitant but decided to tell the sales assistant. She was a bit baffled but apologetic. It’s an open kitchen so, when she asked the chef if he could make a new one, I could see his frustration.

The second round the burger wasn’t overcooked, but I only got one patty. I didn’t complain once again as the sales assistant already looked overwhelmed. The butter burger is named as such as it’s cooked with a knob of the stuff soaking into the patty while cooking, giving a rich, salty flavour and texture. The first burger was overcooked so I didn’t get that experience.

This second time around, the butter was only added to the burger as it was taken off the grill and cooling. It meant that the butter hadn’t melted, was cold and unappetising by the time the burger was served to me. I had to pull out the stuff with a serviette. Regrettable photo attached.

Perhaps I got unlucky with a new chef, but the whole experience indicated a lack of training and ability to handle customer service well. Gasoline Grill have a strong, positive rep to uphold, so the powers that be might want to spend a bit more time on training their new, unanimously...

Employees made so many mistakes...

We ordered a burger, after waiting 30 minutes for it we went to ask why it was taking so long, employees actually discovered that the burger was ready and they just forgot to give it to us.

Then they offered to create a new burger. we agreed to wait more, but after sometime they came back and said they cannot make another one because they realized they were missing something.

And they offered to eat this cold 40 minute old burger and didn't offer anything in return, discount or refund. This burger was for our friend's kid, he really wanted to try gasoline...

Overall the employees did a very poor job and were not trying to help.

It was the 17th of July 2024 around 19:00, and there were not many other clients, so it happened not because of too many orders or them being busy.....

Previous super fan and loyal customer, now I will find another burger provider. I ordered a dinner for my family yesterday in this branch as I live right next door. I’ve often done this, as I always rated Gasolines burgers as the best in town, but not anymore.

The meat patty was dry, it was falling apart and being not tasty at all. The bun was soaked and equally falling apart The potato chips were dry and felt like they were made out of fake potato mash, normally the chips are crisp and moist, but apparently not anymore.

We had to use knife and fork for eating as the burgers were literally falling apart.

I am so disappointed, what happened to...
