Once I had entered this fine establishment my eyes visualised a lovely reception with many cold beverages and pastries and the staff was very kind. Upon my request of my room key the staff was very eager to grant me access to my room where I would reside for the near future untill my stay will be terminated as I ascended the first set of stairs I was pleased to see a short corridor with a common area at the end, my happiness was short lived as I approach the end of the first corridor and my heart had begun beating rapidly as my eyes gazed upon the longest corridor ever assembled by mankind I felt my hands beginning to tremble and my skin was sweating profusely but luckily I remembered that I had RAID Shadow Legends downloaded on my phone. That's right today's review is sponsored by Raid Shadow Legends, one of the biggest mobile role-playing games of 2019 and it's totally free! Currently almost 10 million users have joined Raid over the last six months, and it's one of the most impressive games in its class with detailed models, environments and smooth 60 frames per second animations! All the champions in the game can be customized with unique gear that changes your strategic buffs and abilities! The dungeon bosses have some ridiculous skills of their own and figuring out the perfect party and strategy to overtake them's a lot of fun! Currently with over 300,000 reviews, Raid has almost a perfect score on the Play Store! The community is growing fast and the highly anticipated new faction wars feature is now live, you might even find my squad out there in the arena! It's easier to start now than e and ver with rates program for new players you get a new daily login reward for the first 90 days that you play in the game! So what are you waiting for? Go to the video description, click on the special links and you'll get 50,000 silver and a free epic champion as part of the new player program to start your journey! Good luck and I'll see you there! now back to the review After I had calmed down I had decided to try to traverse down the corridor to reach my destination but soon after my treacherous journey had begun and I had past the point of no return I realized that I hadn't brought enough supplies for the route and I was worried I would not make it but luckily RAID Shadow Legends had given me motivation to continue the walk to my residence and after only 45 minutes I had reached my doorstep where I was overwhelmed with joy. In the room I was greeted buy a single king sized bed and a folded double decker bed unfortunately my adventure had just begun as moments after I entered my hotel room my ears were greeted by an electric locomotive screeching to a halt at the train station next door. The trains continued driving by the hotel window at maximum speed just to hit the brakes for maximum noise. Luckily the hotel had provided earplugs that where incredibly uncomfortable and way to large for my organs of hearing at least there is a no smoking law enforced on the premises, as a free drink I was given some mediocre instant coffee and English breakfast tea also the was no fridge for chocomel.

Myself and my partner stayed at the Hotel Osterport last week for a 4 day trip to Copenhagen and Sweden. Immediate impressions were that the room was MUCH smaller than advertised (but maybe we should have read the fine print). We're literally talking not much more than a bed, a shower and a TV. But it did the job. The room was also ground level with the adjacent train station and tracks meaning it was loud in the mornings and evenings. The trains don't run overnight though, only freight trains which are very quiet. All this being said, the hotel was great for people who spend most of their holiday outside exploring. It's a stones throw from the train station and tram stop that not only go direct to the airport, the city centre and every tourist attraction - but the train from Osterport also goes directly to Malmo in Sweden if you fancy a day trip somewhere different! The hotel provides a handy smartphone which you can use for free calls, texts and data. It has Google Maps and also comes with a tourist guide so you can map out your attractions and plan your visit. You can take this out of the hotel with you. I thought this was a lovely touch! The room is clean and as I said, it does the job fine for just being somewhere to lay your head down at night. We didn't opt for the breakfast as it was very expensive (about £14 I think) and it looked like just a continental breakfast. There's a 7/11 across the road where we got pastries/muffins from every day for breakfast - would recommend that. One thing to bear in mind about Copenhagen is that it's very expensive (more than we imagined) so take plenty of spending money. And oh, hire a bike out and explore the attractions, it's a great way to navigate the city and see everything!

I am not able to comment on the rooms in this hotel, but their customer service is second to none, hands down. Background story.... I booked 2 rooms for my family after finding out that our flight from the UK would be 5 hours delayed, through the airlines website, as we would be too late to pick up our hire car for onward travel at the airport. As a result of miscommunication and because they thought we would not turn up, they took in guests from another overbooked hotel, so they had been given our rooms when we arrived at 2:30am in the morning. Hotel Østerports staff couldn't have treated us any better. Their night porter rang over 20 other hotels in an attempt to find us rooms, then offered us to stay and relax in the foyer, offering us refreshments, and giving us breakfast before we left to pick up our hire car. Furthermore, they arranged for us a full refund and waived the cancellation fee without question. Yes, the hotel is right next to a main rail line into Copenhagen Central Station, so there will be noise from the passing trains in the standard rooms, more so than in the deluxe rooms. Breakfast is what you would expect from a 3-star Hotel, maybe even better, so no complaints. If I need to book rooms in Copenhagen again, I wouldn't hesitate to go back to Hotel Østerport, purely on the basis of the way they made light of an otherwise chaotic situation.

I was here from 18-Sep to 24-Sep. Check-in was smooth, barring an issue with intl card daily limit. Cashier was kind enough to allow check-in with partial amount & rest was paid next day. Though I entered PIN for a test txn of 10DKK, somehow the same transaction could be used for another txn of 3036.80 DKK (without another PIN entry). It was spooky to say the least. At the time of checkout, I realised that 46.80 DKK was charged as card fees. Not a big amount, but a verbal/declaration upfront would have been nice. The kicker was that 2 days after return, I got hit with another debit of 3036.80DKK as an adjustment txn. Had to contact them & they said it will be reversed in 5 days. Hoping for the best. (Update: Got the refund though it took 1 month to close the issue). There is a nice restaurant, but it only serves buffet breakfast (no lunch/dinner). Location is a big plus - you come out of Osterport station & just cross the road! If you use tracks 5/6, you don't even need to cross the road!! Opposite to the hotel is IRMA, where you can buy snacks or readymade salad or fruits & drinks at reasonable price. I got the room away from the tracks. Did not get much disturbed at night (contrary to what others had mentioned). You can hear a gentle rumble now & then, but nothing that impacted my sleep. They have an unmarked ironing room that can be used by guests. The iron board covers need replacement as some are torn very badly. The flooring in the room is worn out and needs replacement. The most disturbing part was the smell in the room every time I returned in the evening. It's hard to put my finger on it, but it would be closest to the stench of urine. Opening the window for a few minutes would solve it. Overall a great location, reasonable price & easy availability at short notice would be the only reason to...

Upon arrival, it was immediately noticeable that our room had an intolerable level of noise, the direct result of being situated literally right next to a bustling train station; a "feature" they affectionately refer to as the "railway room". This might have been a quirky gimmick if not for the unbearable noise that kept us up for the majority of the night. Despite their claim that this was clearly stated on Booking.com (you have to go all the way to the 31st picture to see the view), we found this to be a gross misrepresentation of what guests would be walking into.

We tried addressing this with the reception, hoping to find a more comfortable room. Initially, they refused to accommodate us, stating that no other rooms were available. It was only after involving Booking.com that they "found" a different room, but at an exorbitant upgrade fee of 450 DKK per night, a proposition that we found unreasonable given the circumstances.

Reluctantly, we decided to stick to our originally booked room, a decision that led to a measly 6 hours of sleep and a rush to purchase earplugs to survive the coming nights. A solution no guest should have to resort to.

As if the noise issue wasn't bad enough, the bathroom further soured our experience. The shower barely managed a trickle, rendering any attempts at a refreshing shower futile. Moreover, what little water did come out, splashed erratically in all directions.

It is with a heavy heart that I advise potential visitors to steer clear of this establishment. What could have been a pleasant stay was marred by poor room conditions and an apparent lack of willingness to properly assist paying guests. I implore anyone considering booking here to think twice. It's simply not worth sacrificing your sleep and lovely stay in the beautiful city...
