Le Week-End — Restaurant in Copenhagen Municipality

Delicious breakfast, attentive staff, great ambiance.

We visited Le Week-End for a brunch on Sunday morning. This place did live-up to its good reviews on Google Maps.

We had 3 & 7-course brunch with some coffee. The food itself was delicious (OMG I do wish the Croque Monsieur would come in like 4x the size, so good), the coffe was also very nice - although the milk foaming / latte art was not the best (nit-picking here).

The staff was amazing - friendly, present and easy to connect with, having a great time in the kitchen which just made the whole atmosphere so much more chilled. The ambiance is A-mazing, decorations very chilled and fitting, and I would even pay for the experience in the toilets - nice, clean, with music and nice decorations, lol.

The people working there were really friendly. The stew i had was good, really filling. For my personal taste maybe put a bit less salt in it, but that may be my personal taste. The meal was good value for it's money. Most affordable places in Kopenhagen are a kebab or pizza, this was a real meal in a nice setting.

I would've loved an nice alcohol free beer with my meal, but they only had one i did not fancy. Don't know if there are more people asking for alcohol free beer options, if so it may be nice to add some more to the menu.

This place deserves 5 stars. But.. the night we were here - a Friday evening - the food served was not really hot/warm and that drops my rating slightly. The food was more lukewarm as if it had been standing around a short time before being served. But the taste of the food was amazing - really great all around with the small notice that the steak was over salted. And the staff is great - kind and professional. The decor is great and creates a great atmosphere. Definitely a place we will...
