WOK - Vesterbro — Restaurant in Copenhagen Municipality

Wok is a "Don't Miss" stop if you're in Copenhagen. While there are several branches of the original Wok (That's right, just "Wok" - NOT "Wok On", "Wok Wok", or "Wok and Walk", etc. - all pale imitations), we ate at the original on at Vesterbrogade 103 1620 Kobenhavn V. The food is awfully good, and FRESH, FRESH, FRESH. Our party shared veggie spring rolls and chicken shrimp spring rolls piping hot out of the pan. We also shared Chicken Pad Thai and Penang Curry. (White rice comes with the latter 2 dishes.) Again, extremely tasty, and absolutely fresh. When Wok says "Modern. Natural. Thai." they ain't kidding. The original location looks to be mostly take-away, but there are 2 tables for 6. This is a wonderful place to eat, and reasonably priced. I highly recommend trying the Panang Curry with Organic Tofu at this location - it's absolutely delicious! The spiciness is perfectly balanced, and they serve a generous portion of both rice and curry. Although many people seemed to order for delivery, we opted to dine at the restaurant, which was clean and nicely decorated. The vegetables on display in glass at the register looked incredibly fresh and of great quality. We were staying at CityHub, which is conveniently located nearby, and we enjoyed the meal so much that we ended up going back twice within our week-long stay in Copenhagen. I passed by the restaurant and it had no customers. I thought I should ordered some food to eat. As my padthai (139 kr) was ready, I was so shocked to find out that my food was packed TO-GO. The staff said it was late and that I was not allowed to eat in its empty dinning room. It was only 9:30pm. The restaurant was closed at 10pm as the posted sign. I was a tourist and oddly I had to eat my food in the cold at 7°C outside. What a horrible experience with the restaurant because the staff was too lazy to clean a table... Please communicate clearly if you only accept FOOD...
