The food was not bad but our whole experience was ruined by the waitress whose attitude was among the rudest I’ve ever seen. Both our table and the one next to us ordered Sukiyaki but the two tables were served with different things. To be honest that’s pretty disgusting. It’s so disappointing to see that in 2018 there is still such an arrogant and biased person in an international city like Copenhagen. In response to your reply - Thanks for you explanation. To be clear - we were not bothered by how many side dishes we got, we really don’t care. We were irritated by the fact that when we asked where the restroom was you were not bothered enough to even raise your eyes or say a word, but simply swing your fingers at the direction. I don’t have to list all the minor details of that evening, let’s just say that we were offended by your attitude at the beginning of our dinner. We didn’t bring it up cuz we figured you were just having a bad day – everyone does, that’s okay. It’s when we were about to leave and saw how others’ Sukiyaki were prepared and served, that we realized our dishes were not served with same amount of care. What I said about “different things” is not about the “rightful side dishes”, or anything about the amount of food, I’m talking about how our sukiyaki were cooked with everything dumped together and never checked on while others’ had their vegetables softened first, meat added in later, and finally served in small bowls. Had I got your reply one day earlier I’d be glad to come again to your restaurant and clear things up in person but it’s a pity that such confusion and disappointment have accompanied me all the way...
Read moreIt looks like our experience was pretty consistent with the reviews by Asians/moms.
When we first walked in, we were told they were too busy the food would take over half an hour to come out (There were only three teams and they all had their food). But we still were willing to wait so we said it would be okay and were walking inside. My 1 year old then started crying for 2 sec and that rude old lady said “cant have baby cry here”. I mean, the vibe inside seemed very casual to me. I felt that racist old lady was just being a racist (of her own kind..).
It’s so unfortunate to see a Korean restaurant that is deterring/discriminating against Koreans. As if..I dunno, maybe they don’t feel confident enough about their food authenticity and afraid Koreans would judge them? 🤷♀️
Anyways, it’s a good place to go, if you; Dont care about how authentic their food is Are not Asian Dont have kids Have kids but they dont cry more than a second.

Read moreFood-wise, it is a quite authentic recommendable Korean restaurant for both Korean and foreigners. However, I’m afraid to share my own experience that the restaurant assumedly owner clearly discriminates Korean (Korean speaking) customers with unpleasant attitude and poor service compared to what she showed to the next tables of foreign customers. The lady was very inattentive and almost ignoring our table of Koreans and very reluctant to provide a bare minimum explanation on the menu by giving us very upset face. We had all kind services at other local restaurants during our visit to Copenhagen except SAKURA. Please bear in mind that you don’t expect fair treat if you...
