Suphan Thai Takeaway — Restaurant in Copenhagen Municipality

Really loved this place, but orders are not prepared properly anymore. Kitchen has been forgetting some ingredients (like skipping basil, when it was supposed to be included or adding chili, when it was specifically requested not to put it) and sometimes part of the dish can be burned. I know it’s not a restaurant, but now 2 times in a row, when we asked specifically to exclude chili, it was still in the dish. We even asked again when picking up if chili is excluded, but it still was there. I am not sure if it is from using the same spoon while cooking other dishes or chili is now added in the dressing (before it wasn’t there). If you confirm to the customer, that dish will be without chili, it needs to be WITHOUT chili. Not less chili, not just a little bit chili. No consistency and I am tired of wasting money and getting food I cannot eat at the end. Not sure if I will ever give this place a chance...

BEST Pad Thai. I come from Southeast Asian country, and in my opinion their Pad Thai hits all my criteria of a good Pad Thai: authenticity - they put lime wedge aside instead of Lemon wedge, perfect balance of tangy, sweet and spicy, chewiness of their noodle, freshness of the veggies, and portion is quite big (value for the price). But after quite a long walk, I ate 1 portion in 1 go. I visited several Thai Resto from Netherlands, German and Denmark. By far, this one takes the crown!

cons : the place is quite small, id recommend you to order the food to go or just wait until seats available. However if u eat inside the small restaurant, you definitely need to change ur clothes afterwards because it will catch on some of the cooking...

This is a gem. Somewhat hidden in Copenhagen. I actually went in because I saw that it was cheap compared to other Thai restaurants. As it is a takeaway it only has about 4 tables. Everything looks a bit shabby. But when I started to watch the chef juggling and preparing each dish one by one with fresh products and dedication. I saw that he had made a good choice. The food is truly Thai. Unmodified, it is the pure essence. If they were even a little bit concerned about the physical appearance of the place. I'm sure people would line up to eat here or move to a bigger place easily. I really recommend it for the prices you usually pay in this city and the quality of the food is...
