The Fat Greek, Nørrebro — Restaurant in Copenhagen Municipality

The owner of this restaurant should really read the "what NOT do do as a restauranteur if costumers are not happy with the experience"- manual. Instead of damage-control and a friendly "Thank you, we'll take your opinions into consideration" they accuse my fiance of being rude to the staff. Absolute non-sense. He's always very polite, unless you consider a question if he could get tzatziki to the gyrus rude. When that was not possible he asked for the chipotle-sauce instead. The owner claimed to have "looked at the surveillance tape and talked to the staff". If he really had looked at the surveillance he would have heard what my boyfriend said. Obviously the owner does not understand how unrealistic it sounds that he should have looked into HOURS of surveillance material and still sticked to his opinion. My boyfriend was told that he would have been happier with the food if he ordered with an "open mind". Opened mind to what? As if that could make up for the burnt, overpriced food and rude staff. As you can see, there are others than us that is not happy with the food at this place. Since the owner obviously does not care about their costumers, I bet they don't care about hygiene and cleanliness as well. I think I'll drop a note to the danish food and veterinarian administration so that they can make sure this place is following the law.

PS. I gave them two stars initially, but since the very not friendly owner replied childishly, I downrate them even more.

Original review below: Exensive, overcooked food. The french fries were dry and the vegetables were over cooked. The best thing was the aioli dip. The cashier gave us the inpression that we were not welcome, like "oh no, costumers". We were the only ones there, when our food was ready the cashier shouted "ready" and then left. He did not bid us Goodbye either. Nope, stay away...

Very bad experience with this group of restaurants! 1 First of all working time ? If is coming summer OMG . from greece and is so autentical - usually the working time is not close at 21h. The web page doesn’t work good i tried to order gyros at 20:40 and the page not permite me to place the order at all. After trying to call ☎️ the restaurant i was 1st (may be unique in waiting) wait for a minutes nobody answer ! The tasty yes is good 👍 but the size of combo and without drink for 125dkk i think is too expensive. In CPH Are too many junk food restaurants where u can have better menu with real burger meat for 120dkk - drink included!

Then ? Recommend that places ? Nop ! I will not .. I’m not seeing nothing like from...

The server was rude, and seemed mostly annoyed at having customers. The food was really bland and mediocre, at best. The vegetarian gyros roll was ok, the fries were soggy and the dip tasted outright bad. Can't recommend this place.

In the light of the response of the owner, I lower the score. I see where the staff get their manners from. No, I wasn't rude to anyone, nor was there any new employees working, just the one guy. I did nothing besides order food, I did not complain, and I most certainly wasn't bullying any employees. I think it should be clear to anyone what kind of people are working here based on the owners...
