I recently visited Work at Christianshavn, and it turned out to be a really positive experience. The concept is simple and casual – you place your order at the counter, pay right away, and then find yourself a seat. No fuss, just a relaxed atmosphere with a focus on good food.

I specifically asked for something spicy, and was recommended the Yellow Curry with chicken and vegetables. Just moments after I sat down, my drink arrived – and less than five minutes later, the food was on my table. That’s impressively fast service, especially considering how fresh everything tasted.

The dish itself was generous in size: Lots of fresh vegetables – broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, bean sprouts, and mushrooms – all cooked perfectly so they still had a nice bite and crunch. The chicken was tender and juicy, and the curry sauce delivered exactly the level of heat I had hoped for: flavorful and spicy, but not overpowering. Alongside the main dish, I was served a separate bowl of steaming, freshly cooked basmati rice, which paired perfectly with the rich, aromatic sauce.

The price was 139 DKK, and honestly, you get great value for your money. The portion was big – so big that you’d have to be seriously hungry to finish it all. I ended up leaving a little behind, which doesn’t happen often for me.

The atmosphere in the restaurant is laid-back, the staff are friendly and attentive, and the entire experience reflects quality and care – both in the kitchen and from the service team.

If you’re into Asian-style dishes with real flavor, freshness, and warmth, and you appreciate fast service without compromising on quality, then Work at Christianshavn is definitely worth a visit.

Had lunch today there. It's super easy to find the restaurant. 2min walk from the metro. Restaurant is on main street beside traffic lights.

When you enter the store there is menu on Danish, but instantly when waiter saw us staring into menu surprised he call us and offer us to show us menu on English.

Food was extremely delicious, I had noodles with chicken and my wife had fried rice with chicken.

My noodles were absolutely amazing, I love to eat Asian food but this time it was absolutely amazing. Tenderness and softness of noodles were top class,something you would expect to be charged much more then what dish was here. Super affordable and honestly amazing, amazing food. My best noodles dish so far!

Highly recommend when you come to visit this part of Copenhagen to sit here and have lunch or dinner, you won't regret.
