I was there with my son on a sunday morning (we recently moved here). When we arrived there was what I would call a good amount of people. Not over crowded just like.... Expected I guess? We went in and got a seat because there wasn't many people sitting inside. They handed us 2 pieces of the menu card. We sat down and filled out our order. I went back up to order our brunch. On my way up to order the staff shouted: We dont take more orders we are low in staff (they were 3...)
But I wrote a letter to the staff: "We would appreciate this order when you have the time :)"
She was not happy with this but I told her not to stress about our order. We waited 2 hours and while we sat there waiting I helped the staff clean the tables. After our brunch I had some pesto left and I wanted one slice of bread. I asked the staff If I could pay for one slice and not a whole basket bc I could eat that, but I don't want to throw away the good pesto. She told me no you have to pay full price for a full basket (with no smile, just ice cold)... She charged me 30 DKK
I'm well aware that she followed the rules. But.... I just payed 344 DKK for the breakfast I waited 2 hours for, as I tried to give them a hand but they clearly didn't care or appreciate that.
We left with a very unsettling feeling and big after paying almost 400 DKK for a very...
Read moreThis yoga studio has such a great potential, which for some reason are overlooked. I have been going to the studio for around 20 month now. The location is very nice - water view makes a difference. Some teachers are very good(thats' why I continue going to this studio) and their classes are always fully booked, whereas for some teachers the attendance is very low, but the administration doesn't improve this area unless multiple members send email with complains. Class duration is 75 min which allows sufficient time to arrive to the mat and have a proper savasana in the end - very nice! It is easy to book via the app. There are some improvement areas too. As the room is not that big, it would be good if tit was not used as a storage room as well. Yoga on paddle boards is only possible during a few month, but fully inflated boards are occupying a lot of space throughout the year. It means that people cant leave their belongings and shoes at the entrance, and that creates a messy look, and feels really bad if you end up close to it. Unfortunately it happens often that people are late for the class, and disturbing others. I understand that it's difficult to do something about it, but something can be done for sure.
Overall It's a nice place and I love going to yoga at Yum, but there are small improvements which could make a...
Read moreWe visited today as a great excuse to enjoy a sunny, yet snowy day! It is quite a busy place with a decent amount of sittings inside, but you can also sit outside and enjoy the view and the sun! We had breakfast there, and we had the breakfast plate, which I found good in amount and really tasty. Personally I am not a fan of pesto, but the one that I tasted there was amazing! I also enjoyed the marmalade. The service is okay, there was a miscommunication regarding my friend's coffee leading to the coffee sitting to the bar for many minutes and not being replaced as promised, so the coffee was cold when my friend received it, and it is the only reason not to give 5*. The location is good, next to the canal, and the ferry stop is just in front of the café. You can also take the bus or the metro and walk a little bit and...
