This little gem in the heart of Odense is a MUST if you love Italian food, good atmosphere and friendly people. We are a family of four, two kids 8 and 10, and we were let in just before closing time… this only is such a lovely gesture. The service is immaculate! I’m not talking “quiet butler” style now but just friendly, human, kind and funny. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, like a big and noisy family. The food is the best Italian food I have tasted outside of Italy, by far. It’s from the owners grandmothers own heart and soul, as he himself put it. An absolute gem in Odense. I dined solo at Tatta’s Ristobar and every dish was spot on. The rigatoni was al dente with a perfectly balanced sauce. The Margherita pizza arrived piping hot with a fantastic crust, great base, and that oh-so-satisfying cheese pull. Finished off with an affogato — the espresso was rich and hot, and the gelato not overly sweet.

What really made the experience stand out was the owner’s genuine enthusiasm and passion for the food. Service was stunning — warm, welcoming, and full of pride.

My only regret? Eating alone meant I couldn’t try even more dishes. A must-visit if you're in Odense, even...
