My family stayed 3 nights in the standard room with 2 extra beds PROS Famous hotel in Odense, very traditional building and interior design. Convenient location. About 10 min walk to the Train Museum and HC Anderson Museum, too. - Free breakfast big plus with a lots of choices. Good breakfast but not great. Friendly and helpful staff. Our shower head was broken. I reported to the hotel staff and they fixed it within a few hours Free WiFi Free parking but with very limited spots. When checked in all the free spots were occupied, I had to park in Jernbanegade until 9AM. Then I found one free spot available near the hotel CONS Thin curtains could not block sun. For summer visitors, this is a big negative point due to late late sunset. No view except train stations. No vent in bathroom, so after bath, the room became humid but no where to drive or vacuum. Not accept...

I always tro be to honest and fair in my criticism. The staff is friendly and quite service minded. Firstly. parking, although all hotel parking spots were occupied. I had to find one to pay for. That's not what ypu expect when the hotel has parking included in the booking. So the 2nd thing that comes up to my mind during breakfast. How can this be a 4 star hotel? It was probably one of the negatively surprising experiences during a hotel breakfast. There was about a 10th fraction of the typical breakfast supply available and quality was low. For instance. The pancakes were dry and hard. Almost like pita bread. And you didn't have lactose free youghurt just to name a few. There definitely needs improvements here I am certain Gordon Ramsay would agree on. Furthermore, there is no water boiler and tea in the room. Pretty...

I'm sorry, but I can't stay here again. I stayed in a single room and the bed was so small, I barely fit into it. I'm 193cm tall and there is both a headboard and a footboard, so I had perhaps 4cm of clearance to work with. That, combined with the fairly thin mattress, meant I did not sleep well.

Then, the really bad coffee at breakfast meant i couldn't even wake up properly.

And the bathroom... small shower area that drains under the sink. So you are standing on a wet floor just to brush your teeth or wash your hands. And the tower hook... right above the toilet! Fortunately, I had no mishaps. But that could easily turn into a bad situation.

The staff was very friendly, but that's not enough to make up for things.

All in, I will stay at a different...

Everything other than the service was fine. Pros: 1. fast internet 2. in the city center ( near to everywhere) 3. clean rooms 4. it has a lift. 5. some parking are around, in case you come after 2 pm and the parking is full you can use one of the parkings around ( free only on the weekends) -breakfast is compared to other hotels in Denmark and the price of the hotel normal Cons: - Very one dimensional staff and not friendly at all - not enough parking space ( if you come after 2 pm, there might be no free parking slot)
