Very poor service towards food allergies. I've been playing Russian Roulette here.
As this is an all inclusive resort they ask for your hotel room at all restaurants and buffets. And they also ask if you have food allergies. You expect that the staff know how to deal with it but the reality is a little disappointing.
Moreover, the staff are really friendly and they mean well but they don't speak enough English to understand the concept of food allergies. Don't expect to see a list of ingredients and don't trust the menus on the app. When in doubt, avoid it.
Most importantly, even in the restaurants, it's hard to prepare for what you're getting into. They just write "fish with vegetables" or "steak" and it's up to the guests to guess what that means. We went to this Italian restaurant one time and the manager came in to talk to me about my allergies. He told me the fish was a safe option and I thought I was being taken care of. Trouble came at the dessert. I asked for a panna cotta dessert (that's pretty safe, isn't it) and I specified again that Im allergic to nuts. The staff interpreted that as that I didn't want to have any sprinkles. I was quite disappointed to see that the Panna cotta didn't have the light creamy colour i was expecting. It looked brown and chocolaty. After one bite it tasted awfully like Nutella. I didn't have time to complain about this as I had to rush straight to my hotel room to get lots of anti histamine and asthma inhalers. Not what I call a fun,...

So tonight was a night and day difference, where the staff were extremely on top of things, attentive to all our needs, bringing each course out right when it was needed, but not in a way that made us feel rushed. Super great food too. For example, when you order the minestrone soup they'll bring out your bowl with just the veggies in it, arranged attractively, and then they pour the stock in on top of it in a very elegant manner. Read moreRidiculous, one of the worst restaurants I’ve been in my life. Receptionist at the entrance very rude as all the staff from the hotel. We were 4 people, we ordered 4 entrances and 4 first dishes. After one hour waiting for the food the server arrived with the 4 first dishes forgetting to bring the entrance so the food had to go back. We wait more half an hour to receive the entrance that probably was better to don’t receive due to its quality. Salti in bocca were horrible worst quality ever. We had to give the dish back and the server didn’t even care about.
