Bavaro Beach — Attraction in Higüey

Not the worst, not the best. The beach itself is pretty nice with a lot of beautiful palms, sand is soft and almost white. Bit worse is the ocean, which is loaded with seaweed (and in the morning the beach is full of seaweed as well, later in a day some workers try to clean it). The swimming area is really restricted, so you can't swim far (if you even want to swim around so much seaweed). Boats there cause noise and...

The water has lots of seaweed. It's nice and warm salt water. The vendors can be a bit annoying and if you get there before 11am you will find seats...

La playa es hermosa! El color del agua y la arena increíbles! La temperatura del agua es ideal para bañarse. El sargazo es un poco molesto aunque no impide bañarse.
