This restaurant may look really nice, but their food is the most lackluster food I have ever had. I ordered takeout from them, so I didn't get the nice ambiance. Instead what I got was a minimal amount of very lackluster food, with key ingredients missing. I ordered hummus and eggplant that were supposed to come with pita bread. They forgot to give me pita bread for with both. I also ordered falafel, of which I only got four, not even enough to dip in the dips I ordered. But worst of all, I ordered a green salad, and what I got was a huge amount of iceburg lettuce. Literally no other vegetables what so ever. Literally, just iceburg lettuce. Technically this does not even qualify as a salad, which they would know if they were actually trained chefs. But when you take the food out of the restaurant and all of its ambiance and presentation, you really get to see what it is you are paying for and what the quality really is. And the fact that they didn't even give me any pita bread, the main staple in Greek cuisine, that is what I was supposed to be eating my hummus and eggplant with, is about as bad as it gets. And it caused me to go to bed hungry that night, since I couldn't go back to the restaurant because they had closed. I tried to contact them about it, but never heard back. Apparently their customer service is as lackluster as their food. Oh and just a note for you vegeterians and vegans, this vegeterian restaurant does not consist of vegeterian employees, which may be part of the reason why they do not care...
Read moreWhat a great experience I had in that place, it was my first middle East place and everything was delightful. Let's start with the Limonana ( it's not a typo ) what a great combination of frozen limonade with mint and will take your mouth to hole new level. Their hummus is fantastic, the Falafel was a great explosion of Oriental flavors in my mouth and the star of the was the lamb shawarma + the garlic sauce it was the perfect touch to finish the amazing experience. Their hot sauce it too hot if you have it , it won't let you enjoy the food ( coming from a guy who love spicy food ). Oh and the environment is just beautiful, peaceful...
Read moreNice spot for some vegan options in Zona Colonial, good falafel. It's a small window shop with a couple of tables. The owner is originally from Israel and has done an amazing job with middle eastern street food. Falafel were soft and the right chunky texture on the inside and crispy on the outside. We also tried the hummus and the baba ganoush - both tasted good. The pita bread could have been a bit toasted and a bit thinner probably.. the ones here were a bit thick so kind of doughy inside. Please note the place excepts cash (no cards) .. so make sure you have your pesos or dollars. Will...
