Not sure how to begin with the worst experience I ever had in a restaurant. If they were no stars I would pick that one. I ordered a fish and when the waiter brought me the dish just by looking at it, the fish was way over cooked. I told the waiter without touching it that it was not what I expected and if I can change it for something else. The waiter called the manager and the manager keep insisting for me to taste it. I finally did and it was even worst. The fish was very dry with the skin on the bottom which gives it a very fishy taste in other words horrible taste! I told the manager to please to change it for something else and he agree so I ordered a pizza. Twenty minutes later the manager comes back and has the audacity after I ordered the pizza to said he can’t cancel the dish cause the chef told him the fish was good!!!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! My entire hour and a half that I was there the manager keeps coming back trying to convince me to eat the fish or to take it home. I got sooooo upset that I just paid (the fish and the pizza) and left the fish, since the manager, the chef and another waiter tasted the fish and concluded it was good. This restaurant has absolutely no customer service, it’s about the money and that’s it!! They rather to loose a client and keep $10 dollars! Not to mention, it supposed to be Italian and ITS NOT AT ALL ! Italian restaurants don’t serve Chivo…(goat) Overall, again, worst customer service I’ve ever received in my life, please don’t waste your money go to Pate Palo, great food and...
Read moreMy wife and I had a wonderful lunch at M7 Restaurant in Santo Domingo, and it ended up being one of our favorite meals of the trip. The restaurant is right on the Malecón, so we sat outside with a gorgeous ocean view and a perfect breeze—it really set the tone for a relaxing afternoon.
We started by sharing the Mozzarella in Carroza, which was golden, crispy, and perfectly melty inside. For our mains, my wife had the skirt steak, which was cooked just right and packed with flavor, while I went with the sautéed shrimp—fresh, garlicky, and super satisfying. Both dishes were delicious, and we couldn’t help but sneak bites off each other’s plates.
The service was friendly and attentive, but never rushed. Our server made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed while letting us enjoy the peaceful vibe.
If you're in Santo Domingo and looking for a lunch spot that hits all the marks—amazing food, ocean views, and a chill, romantic atmosphere—M7 is definitely worth checking out. We left full, happy, and already planning...

This time we were greeted and served quickly. The wait staff was amazing and everyone friendly and accommodating.
We ordered two appetizers two main courses. No desert because we were full in fact we probably only ate half of our food because they serve a lot.
Everything was delicious and will most likely come again.
